"Wood nymphs" Dwezzo shook his head. "You didn't do the reading on wood nymphs, did you?"
"Uh, there was a reading?"
Dwezzo sighed and took down a book from his well-stocked shelves. "Spirits of the Forest by Saevius Nicanor, about two hundred years old but still considered the standard work on wood nymphs. Let's see what the old master has to say on the subject of wood nymphs and sexuality." He began to read.
"Wood nymphs have a high sex drive, slightly less than that of satyrs but well ahead of dryads and sylphs. Their sexuality is oriented primarily to their own species and entirely to their own gender. The ability of wood nymphs to seduce human women is the subject of the folktale cycle known as "The Miller's Daughter and the Wood Nymph" or "The Princess and the Wood Nymph." There are at least three recorded incidents of wood nymphs being raped by human or orcish males. (See appendices 89-91.) In each case, the rapist died within a day in a wood-related accident."
Dwezzo looked up from his reading. "In other words, bucko, this ain't gonna get you laid."
