An hour of walking through winding streets and twisting roads led him to a small housing estate on the edge of town, one he knew all too well. He and Matthew had grown up together in this estate remembering playing with each other from the age of eight always looking out for each other, liking the same people, and playing the exact same games. It was only in their senior year of high school that they had begun to grow apart from each other, mostly because they were just not being how they used to be or how they remembered each other. The boy shook his head and came up the stairs of a small apartment block walking up the stark white stairs and reaching the eighth floor where his friend's apartment lay waiting, with a firm finger he rang the doorbell.
After a few minutes of waiting, Matthew opened the door rubbing his eyes groggily and mustering a small "Come in."
