"I can't believe how easy that was," Marcus exclaimed to the two vampires waiting by the street.
Donovan's minions had successfully infiltrated the Davis home and now held Tricia Davis in their arms. The toddler sleeping soundly in their arms. "This child sleeps like the dead," one of them chuckled as he gazed at the brunette child.
"Interesting choice of words all things considered," the other remarked, a soft laugh escaping his lips. "Now put her in the car. Lord Miro is waiting." As the trio now turned, they were surprised to see a young man in his early twenties and a very stern middle aged woman.
"Hello," the man said politely. "Can I ask you what you're doing with Tricia?"
"Who the hell are you?"
"Oh sorry where are my manners. My names Matt." The trio of vampires paused, giving the young man a puzzled look. Matt didn't appear like much. An average sized looking human with long brown hair. His companion, the middle aged woman, looked more intimidating. For the vampires they felt as if they were gazing at the live action version of the evil queen from Snow White.
"Enough with the chatter Dracon," the woman huffed. "Finish these vermin off!"
"Mom," Matt sighed. "Will you relax please. I've got this, and for the love of the Dragon God can you PLEASE call me Matt not Dracon."
The trio of vampires were confused, whoever these two were they were certainly odd. Matt now composed himself, taking a breath as he now gazed at the trio of vampires. "Sorry about my mom," he replied sheepishly. "She has a bit of a short temper. To answer your question though, my name is Matt and THAT little girl in your arms is under my protection."
The vampires simply scoffed, the largest of the three storming forward. "Get lost," he bellowed as he proceeded to backgand Matt.
Instead of being thrown back by the blow, Matt stood his ground. A soft chuckle now slowly emanating from him. "Really," he grinned. "That's it. That's the best you got?"
The vampire was confused, his face turning crimson in anger. As he looked to strike Matt again, he was stunned as the man transformed. It looked as if Matt's body seemed to shimmer, going blurry as it expanded to massive proportions. The vampires now shocked as a golden dragon now stood before them. "Pretty scary huh," Matt growled, a reptilian like growl emanating from deep within the dragons throat. "Im not the one you should be scared of though."
As the vampires now slowly backed away, they could hear a series of low growled echoing behind them. It dawned on the vampires too late that in their shock, they hadn't noticed where the woman had gone.
Turning they now saw the woman standing behind them. A red glow emanating from her dark eyes. The womans body now began to twist, the sound of sinew and bone snapping as she grew to monstrous proportions, a series of five heads tearing through her human form and all five heads of the dragon snarling at the three unfortunate vampires.
"Id like to introduce you to my mom, Tiamat."
The vampires didn't even have a chance to respond. If they hadn't been so frightened they would not have released their grasp of Tricia Davis. Instead they dropped the girl, Matt's massive claw catching the girl and cradling her gently. With Tricia now safe, Tiamat had no reason to hold back.
Three of her heads now lurched forward, the jaws of the dragon snatching the vampires as she tore them to pieces. It happened so fast that they could barely utter a scream as Tiamet devoured them before roaring.
"Geez mom do you have to be so loud," Matt grumbled. "You'll wake up the neighborhood."

"Is everyone okay," Cole asked as he stumbled to his feet. Kumiko, Marisa, Nat, and Rei all nodded, somewhat stunned by the child vampires attack.
"Cole the kids!"
Coles eyes went wide, Kumiko had been holding Yuriko during the attack, while the child vampire had a hold of Tommy. In the confusion, Kumiko had somehow lost hold of Yuriko as the vampires retreated. Now, Cole feared that both his children had been kidnapped.
Still bleeding, Cole now stumbled to the outside, his eyes growing wide as he gazed at his front lawn.
"Dad I'm sorry."
Cole gaped at his 5 year old son, it appeared Ann and Ken had backup. What they hadn't expected was a child that had enough control over his abilities to escape. Cole now stared in stunned silence at the pair of vampire minions hanging from a tree. In Tommy's panic, it appeared the boy had summoned forth a series of chains that had snapped the necks of the vampire minions. Cole felt the color drain from his face as they beheld the lifeless corpses dangling from his tree like Halloween decorations.
"Dad," Tommy whimpered. "I sorry. I didn't want to hurt them."
"Its okay buddy," Cole whispered. "It's okay. I'm not mad. I'm glad your safe."
"They took Yuki Dad," Tommy sniffed. "The man that hurt you and the scary girl. They took Yuki."
"WHO TOOK YUKI!"
Cole now slowly turned, a sense of relief washing over him as he stared at Akira. "Where is Yuriko? Who took her?"
"Vampires," Cole stated, wiping blood from his brow.
Akira was now stoned face, Cole watching as both Mia and Zack now sprinted from the house. The 13 year old witch and werewolf appearing anxious after searching the Harris hone. "Akira we can't find Yuki!"
"Sgt. Harris," Akira said, her voice low and full of rage. "Contact your sister and her friends. I will find your daughter!"
