“All that happened last week?!” Shara asked.
“Yes.” Angela said as she took a sip of iced tea. “It was pretty intense until we got settled down.”
The platinum blonde took another long sip.
“Have Wendy and Candice calmed down yet?”
“FUCK YOU TOO, BITCH!” Wendy yelled from another room.
“What do you think?” Lisa sighed.
“You’re the one who tried to shave my head!” Candice shouted.
“Is that how we were?” Lucy and Marinette asked while pointing at each other.
“YES.” All the other ladies in the room said in sync.
“Okay, okay settle down!” Sam called, “Dinner’s here!”
“We couldn’t decide on Chinese or Steakhouse, so we got some of both!!!” Jamie beamed.
“How much did all of this cost?” Colin asked as he looked over the two huge bags.
“Nothing’s too much for you, baby…” Jamie smiled as she pecked his cheek.
“No really, I think all the bulbs are gonna…”
Everything went dark.
“Burn out.”
D’s cigarette lighter clicked a few times as a small flame finally sparked. The biker slowly lit candles around the room as everyone took their seats.
“Candlelight! This is sooo romantic.” Candice smiled as she leaned on his arm.
Wendy shot her a death glare and snapped her spork in half.
“Yes, yes it is…” Sam said as she pushed the busty maid away and sat on Colin’s lap. “Welp, let’s dig in!”
The silence of the blackout gave way to the cacophony of a crowded meal; chewing, the shuffling of takeout containers, and the chatter of diners.
“Hey, I want some wontons too!”
“Who ordered the garlic butter steak?”
“Could you pass me my General Tso’s and a couple packs of Sweet and Sour sauce?”
“Hey y’all, who ordered the mushroom and bleu?”
“Could you kindly scoot your seat to the right?”
“Hey D, pass me the spring rolls!”
“Where are the crab cakes?”
“Get your elbow out of my orange chicken!”
“I found a crab cake!”
“I heard that!”
“Wouldn’t trade it for the world…” Colin sighed as he took a huge bite of filet mignon.
“Hey wait a minute!” Lucy called out.
Everyone paused.
“…Jessie, Zoya, Lori, Candice, D… we’ve got an extra meal here!”
“I didn’t order that.” Lisa said.
“Not mine.” Alya said.
“I don’t like Mac and cheese.” D said.
“I don’t like bacon.” Shara added.
“I already had my lunch packed for tomorrow.” Sam said.
“So did I.” Angela said.
“I did too.” Wendy added.
“Same here.” said Tina.
“I don’t order Italian dressing.” Lori added.
“I don’t even like steak.” Christy said.
“Are you sure you counted those orders correctly?” Marinette said.
“I thought I did…” Jamie said.
The chatter was silenced by a knock at the door.
“Lucy, go get the bat.” Sam said as she grabbed her belt and pulled out her pistol.
“Who’d be knocking at this hour?” Angela asked.
“Can’t tell, the lights are still out.” D said peering through the peephole.
Colin pushed D aside and grabbed the door handle as he turned to look over his shoulder.
Lisa clutched her can of mace.
Lucy anxiously patted the bat against her hand.
Marinette took a fighting stance.
Sam cocked her gun and nodded.
Colin opened the door, getting pounced on as the girls got ready to fight.
“Woah woah woah, stop!!!” Zoya said as she turned on her phone’s flashlight.
It was as a mysterious woman pinning Colin to the floor and forcing him to a kiss.
“Who is that?” Lori asked.
“Hands off my man!!!” Lisa, Lucy, Marinette, and Sam yelled in sync.
Sam looked over to the other members of the harem and saw something in one of them… a particular look.
