A Teratophile Gets The Power To Change Her Boyfriend. This can only end well.

added by LostYoshi A year ago O

Tiffany LeChat leaned back in her seat behind the store's counter, idly glancing at the pages of "Sorceress monthly." Her shop, (if you could really call it that, when nothing on the shelves was actually for sale,) had seen precious few visitors in the decade it had been open. Not that she was worried about the lack of business, per se, her immortality and eternal beauty spells ensured she never really would have needed customers to keep herself fed, and the enchantments on the shop itself kept the lights on, (though to her great displeasure, it seemed even her magic couldn't hide the shop from the IRS when tax season came around). Really, she considered her "shop" more of a charity for women in need.

The bell above the door rang as, for the first time in years, someone walked through. Tiffany closed her magazine at once and rose up to greet her guest.

"Good afternoon, deary, welcome to LeChat's!" She motioned for her guest to come closer.

"Oh, uh, hi miss," the young woman said, brushing her brunette hair out of her eyes. "I er... noticed you had a copy of... er..." Her voice shrank to an embarrassed whisper, "When The Hearts Are Right." Her voice went back to its previous volume. "How much for it?"

"Oh, I'm so sorry, dear," Tiffany said, getting out from behind the counter with a friendly smile. Her "merchandise" were all simple wooden blocks enchanted with a spell to appear to any girl or woman that looked at it as something they'd been looking to buy, a lure to entice the women in question toward the real prize. "that's a display copy only, it's not for sale. The others sold right out! But, I might have something else you're looking for. What's your name, Deary?"

She paused, setting a hand on the young woman's shoulder.

"Alexa," The woman said as she flinched away, but Tiffany's lip-loosening spell had already been set in motion by that little touch.

"If I can ask you a personal question, how is your relationship with your boyfriend or husband?"

Alexa blinked. "It's been going well, actually. Why do you ask?"

Tiffany was a little surprised by that answer. Most women that found themselves drawn here either had a grudge to act out on, or felt bored with their boyfriend in some way. "A lot of folks come here with relationship troubles. I guess I just get used to being dragged into them and asked to help." She paused. "What's your man like?"

"Oh, my boyfriend Flint's just the sweetest. He's always ready to help me out when I need something, he'll hear me out when I need someone to talk to. He's kind of reserved, but he's also honest to a fault. He's great!" She blushed slightly. "Oh, listen to me ramble. I should probably get going."

"Oh don't feel bad about it," Tiffany said. "But surely there must be some complaint you have, right?"

Alexa thought about the question. "I suppose I was annoyed by how long he spent playing video games for a while, but once I brought it up, he started making more time for me. He even bought a two player game he thought I might like, so we could enjoy it together. It was kinda cute, even if it wasn't my thing."

Tiffany felt aghast. "Is there anything about him that leaves you unsatisfied?"

Alexa looked away, he voice going quiet, a hint of shame in her tone. "It's not something that'd be reasonable to expect of anyone..."

"Oh, so there is something." Tiffany smiled, moving in closer. "What are you looking for?"

"I just... It's uh..."

Even the lip loosening spell seemed to have a hard time extracting this information from Alexa. Tiffany upped it's strength.

"I have a secret fantasy of having a big, hunky monster for a husband. And I mean that literally! I wanna be held in massive claws and kissed by a mouth full of fangs with an inhuman tongue, and then-" She immediately clapped her hands over her mouth, blushing intensely. "SORRY SORRY SORRY! I know that's waaayy too much information! I don't know why I said it!"

Tiffany blinked. That was a very different reason for the spell to draw a girl here. But she could still work with that. She smiled wide. "Well well. I might have just the thing for you Alexa. Or rather, you already have it."

Alexa shook her head, taking a step back toward the door. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm a sorceress, deary." To demonstrate, she snapped her fingers, and the jeans and red T-shirt Alexa was wearing wove together into a large red ballgown, before changing back with a second snap, each change causing Alexa to gasp. "And by stepping into this little shop, you've had a special enchantment placed on you."

He eyes widened further, and she backed up against the wall. "Wh-what did you do t-to me!"

"It doesn't do anything to YOU dear. Not directly. It gives you the power to do anything you like with your boyfriend. And I do mean ANYTHING. By stepping through the door, you've obtained complete control over your boyfriend in body and mind."

Alexa shook her head. "Why would you just give that power away? Isn't it easy to abuse?"

"For a lot of women that come here, it's the only way out of abuse. Their husbands are far less troublesome as dogs or dolls. But, it can be used for little enhancements as well. Just think about what you want to change, whisper 'as I will' and watch as he's re-written."

"But I don't WANT to re-write him!"

"Then don't deary." Tiffany shrugged, turning around, and getting back into her chair behind the counter. "But, if you really want to have a monster boyfriend, it would be so easy to. You could just change him back later, wipe his mind of the event, and live like nothing ever happened. Just... Think about it."

Alexa glanced back and forth between Tiffany and the door, before rushing out without a word. Tiffany chuckled to herself, and pulled a crystal ball out from behind the counter. This could be interesting to watch.

Alexa looked back, after putting some distance between herself and the shop. Or at least, where she remembered the shop being. The little shop she'd stepped into had vanished, the window display now an extension of the grocery store next door.

That was all just a weird fever dream, right? That had to be it. Still... The thought of Flint, the boy she loved, with a form she'd only dreamed of in her most impossible fantasies...

No. No need to waste time thinking about some silly daydream. She had a date with him in an hour, she could enjoy her time with her boyfriend as he really was, and be satisfied with that. And if she happened to whisper "as I will" under her breath at some point during the day, it's not like it would REALLY do anything, anyway.

Where is their date, and what will she turn Flint into (first)?
