Transform or Dare?

Jen Lies on the Bus

added by sneme 2 years ago A

Jen found her other sock and got her school supplies organized. She headed downstairs and scarfed down a quick breakfast, before heading outside for the bus. Too bad her stingy rich parents were waiting for her to graduate to get her a car, she thought.

As she got on the bus, she sat in the very back, by her friend Rachel. They were both on the cheer squad, and had been close all their lives. As they got laughing and joking together, they started to reminisce about bullying nerdy underclassmen. Inevitable one-up-manship bit Jen in the ass, however, when she exaggerated what she'd done to some pathetic 10th grade girl a month ago.

"Yeah HAHA, and when she started to cry harder, I took her sketchbook and threw it in the toilet!" Jen cried with laughter, and Rachel wiped a tear from her eye, believing Jen's exaggerated lie. In reality, Jen had only tossed it in the trash, watching the nerdy girl scoop it out, stained from the contents of the trashcan. The curse was activated.

Jen screamed. Her arms shot out, growing incredibly large. Her arm hair thickened into fur. Her arms kept growing, clearly ape-like, but larger than any arms she'd ever seen. When they stopped, they were crammed uncomfortably into the space in front of the next bus seat. She could barely move them, they were so large. Each arm was over 6 feet long, and more like a furry tree trunk than a limb. They dominated her frame, comically out of proportion with the 18 year old's athletic build.

"What's wrong, Jen?" Rachel asked, concerned that her friend had started randomly screaming. Jen cried, unable to even say anything due to the horror of her new arms. She pulled her arms out from by her feet. banging her elbow on the side of the bus, denting it. She needed to get out of this bus, now! She couldn't believe how big her arms were.

Luckily they were pulling up to Glendale High, and the students ahead of her started filing out. Rachel grabbed Jen's backpack for her, as she figured out how she was going to get out of the bus with her gigantopithicus arms. She scooted towards the bus aisle, pulling herself out with her giant arm. She was 5'8, and her wrists dragged on the ground several feet behind her. In order to exit the bus, she had to shuffle sideways through the aisle, with her arms raised ahead and behind her to keep them from dragging on the ground. They were heavy, but powerful. Her shoulders bulged with muscle, but she wasn't sure it was enough. By the time she finally squeezed out of the bus, her shoulders were screaming in exhaustion from holding her gigantic arms up. She stood on the sidewalk, trying to collect her thoughts.

She brought her right arm up ahead of her. It dragged painfully on the concrete, causing her to cringe. She could hardly believe how big her leathery hands were! Each one was almost the size of her torso, and she estimated she'd be able to wrap one of them around her waist easily, like how she'd hold a bottle. Rachel stood by her, acting more like a caretaker than a friend, waiting for Jen to start walking into the school. No one payed the girl with gigantic ape arms any mind, except Kyle, who was falling over laughing from a 2nd story window watching the head cheerleader grapple with her new appendages.

Jen tried to walk forward, but dragging her arms behind her was painful. They were too long to let her knuckle-walk like a gorilla, being over a foot longer than her standing height. If she pressed down she found she could walk on them like legs, but that felt... strange. It also quickly tired her shoulder muscles. She really wasn't sure how she was gonna live with these things, and she still had no idea what had caused her to change. Why was everyone else treating it like it was NORMAL?
