Sitting hunched on the steps of the kiddie slide playset, I pondered my decision to participate in this "game." Why agree to give up this ring, which could seemingly grant me any possible desire? It's not like I'd gain anything by winning -- I could do anything I wanted to Kelly anyway.
Theoretically. Of course I wouldn't do anything to her without her permission. So... yes, it was an incentive. Furry as she was, I still couldn't help but admire her feminine qualities. It made me hard thinking about her boobs, her hips, her wet... lady parts. But...
It was her power that really turned me on. I realised this with a grimace. It was weird... the more she grew, the more frightened of her I had become. But the fear itself was... arousing. The idea of being at the mercy of that woman... that she-wolf. Bigger than me, stronger than me, and probably even smarter than me, if her words about intelligent werewolves were any hint.
And that, I finally admitted, was why I had acceded to wagering the ring. Because the thought of being totally at her mercy turned me on emotionally and sexually. However... as much as it thrilled me to contemplate being caught and losing my new power, I wasn't going to give up without a fight. I considered this a good hiding spot, but even if she found me, I still had a few tricks I could play.

Joe's scent was faint on the wind. But it was a lot stronger on the grass. Not having fully transformed yet, I could not just walk on all fours, so I was constantly having to stoop to make sure I was on his trail.
Nonetheless, this was exhilarating! To be able to track someone using my nose, almost like I could "see" where he had gone -- Oh my God, yes! Meanwhile a whole new olfactory palette had opened around me. Once I had won -- and I was sure I would, the park wasn't that big, and with my enhanced senses he couldn't hide, any more than he could run from my enhanced legs -- once I had won, I might just explore, and find out what all these wondrous new scents were attached to.
I might have to leave the city, though. Increased sensitivity to exhaust fumes was not something I was enjoying. There was an over-abundance of steel, asphalt and concrete as well. At least here most everything smelled alive.
I chuckled to myself. Focus. I could do whatever I wanted with that ring, but if I started dreaming I might run out of time, like the hare in the fable.
His trail led through a line of trees, and then into the playground. Suddenly I could smell him much easier -- he was here. Honestly, my heart fell a little. I had hoped he would put at least a little effort into this; give me a little challenge.
"Ah well," I growled under my breath. My yellow eyes zeroed in on the slide; that was the only place he could be "hiding" here.

I tensed up as the sound of crunching gravel interrupted my thoughts. She's here! I looked over to the side, and saw her shadow indistinct through the plastic cover of the steps. Rapping echoed through my narrow hiding-spot as she knocked her knuckles against the plastic.
"Found you, Joe. Give up?"
"You wish!" I retorted. "You have to actually catch me, first!"
"If you insist! Hmmm..." More crunching; and then I saw her appear at the entrance to the playset. Suddenly her fang-filled muzzle and yellow eyes were grinning up at me. She had to hunch to fit in the child-sized space, but damn she was able to squeeze in.
"Got you now!" she taunted.
"Not yet, my big bad sexy wolfess!" I shouted, turning to scramble the rest of the way up the steps.
"Wha-ooooohhh..." I heard her groan behind me as the change overwhelmed her, bulking out her form further as pleasure sparked across her nerves. Her face finished forming into a full wolf snout, the intelligence in her eyes and her human hair the last vestiges of her old identity. Her breasts grew much larger, even with her shoulders expanding she now had a larger relative bust than the C-cup she started with. Three more pairs of nipples also emerged along her belly fur, each one accompanied by a new zing of desire.
Her torso and hips also shifted to allow for an easier quadrupedal stance, while still favouring an upright posture. Her feet changed the most, balls and toes expanding into paws while her arches pushed out, effectively becoming an extra length of leg while her heels morphed into hocks.
"Oh... ohh... damn!"
I congratulated myself, hearing her curse just as I slipped out of the slide on the far end. Surely now she was stuck, and distracted by the increasing pleasure of the ninth stage of her --
"Clever," I heard her growl. "But!" I turned around, eyes wide, as I heard plastic crack. My mouth dropped open as, with a roar, the lower end of the roof was ripped free of the stairs, allowing Kelly to stand upright.
"Oh shit!" I squeaked. Why haven't I been running!? But I couldn't look away. She looked massive now, looming over the wreckage of the playset; at least seven feet tall, thick muscles counterpoised by female curves, and at least as much wolf as human. Our eyes met for a moment. I saw her teeth flash in a triumphant smirk, then she tilted her head back and howled.
"Oh shit!" Well that got me running. But, while she tottered a bit at first on her new legs, her instincts quickly took over. I doubted there was any way I could outrun her, but I had at least confirmed that transforming incapacitated her for a minute or two. There was one stage left, and I could use it to buy me a bit of time -- but with the downside that once she finished, she'd be even more powerful.
