The June issue of Animalia Magazine was called the Jolly June edition, partly because of all the funny articles in it.

Because Father's Day was in the same weekend it came out, there was a contest of sorts for next month. Readers were allowed to send in photos of their fathers for a $500 cash prize. The winners would be featured in the next month, with the more risqué ones (obviously from the Father's Day Shoot) only being featured in the Premium version of the digital copy.

Another article talked about the characters and references (historical, fictional, mythical or otherwise) in When Worlds Collide..., as well as some debunking of popular myths that had been perpetuated by some of the origins. One of the best examples was from The Three Musketeers, where it was popularly believed that the famous, or infamous, "man in the iron mask" was actually King Louis XIV's twin brother, when in actuality a second birth to the royal family would never be kept a complete secret. At the time, a birth to the royal family was a momentous occasion, witnessed by many. So, if Louis XIV's mother gave birth to a twin brother OR sister, almost everyone would know almost immediately.

Another article was based off of the upcoming summer solstice, the various rituals carried out at the time, and what it usually means. There were some "rituals" that were exclusive to Asian communities, which Heiya Island would be taking part of in its own way, since it was becoming a kind of Pan-Asia colony.

Yet another article talked about how June eventually became "Pride Month", and some unusual things done at the time, whether to protect or suppress LGBTs. One, rather amusing, story talked about the "Lavender Panthers" in California during the Civil Rights movement, and how they were less "passive" and more "aggressive" in defending LGBTs.
In contrast, there were a lot of people who were angry about how many anti-LGBT groups were actually started as church groups. Fortunately, the Pope was able to douse a lot of the flames with a really clever comment.
"While the Catholic Church as a whole doesn't condemn LGBT+, there have always been individual religious leaders who thought otherwise. These leaders inevitably became corrupted by the power they 'gained' from forming anti-LGBT+ communities and ended up losing it all when the authorities were notified."

As a whole, the 'Jolly June' issue of Animalia Magazine not only revealed some important information, but also helped set some other things straight, not just about Animalia.
