You’re Jack, and you had just returned from a long trip to Australia. You had just put on this strange necklace around your neck, which you had received from a reclusive rancher who lived near the hotel where you were staying. You wanted a souvenir and you got this from him, for free. Little did you know that the necklace had magical properties!
As you stand in the bathroom, you begin to feel a weird, tingling sensation which courses through your whole body. Hair begins to sprout all over your skin, which is of a light grayish color. It forms a thick coating everywhere, from your chest all the way down to your legs.
“What’s going on?”
Next, your arms begin to shorten considerably. Your fingers grow long, sharp claws as your arms shrink down.
“Heyyyy… whoaaa! I’m changing!!”
Your legs become thin and long but your feet grow much longer than they were before, twice as long. Each hind foot now has four large toes instead of five.
“Holy shit! I’m becoming a kangaroo!!!!”
You begin to transform into an anthro version of the western grey kangaroo, which now stands at a height of almost 6-foot-7 inches and with a weight of two hundred pounds.
“My LEGS! My legs are changing!”
You develop large hind muscles which work in conjunction with your large feet for hopping and leaping over large distances. Your average speed of hopping is about 15 MPH. Lastly, a thick, big, long, grey tail starts to grow from your anus and extends all the way to the floor. The mighty tail helps with hopping as it swings downward as the legs move backward, making you move faster. The tail is just over 3 feet in length!
“WHOAA! I got a TAIL!”
As you look behind you, you see your long, big tail bang against the floor. You try to walk, but you can barely shuffle, and you end up hopping around instead, thanks to your big muscles attached to your hind legs.
“I better go outside!”
You realize, once you’re outside, you can hop to an amazing height of thirty feet! You manage to hop from the ground to the roof of the house and then back to the backyard again.
“Whoaaaa! This is amazing!” you cheer, as you hop to the edge of the swimming pool so you can stare at your reflection.
Only your face has remained human, but the rest of your body is that of a western grey kangaroo from Australia!
Your midsection and your stomach become big and round while your legs are truly long and thin, except for the huge hind leg muscles. Your feet are huge now, great for leaping and jumping, and you need to get used to having that big, 3-foot-long tail behind you.
“Ohmygosh! I can’t believe this! I’ve turned into a human kangaroo!” you shout as you stand on the back patio.
Just then, your parents come outside, and they bring a tray with snacks. They don’t even notice anything unusual about you.
“Jack, why don’t you go and hop to school? I bet they got things going on at the running track?” your mom says.
“They also got a soccer game going on this afternoon! They could use you!” your dad says.
“Uhh… Sure, dad. I’ll just…. I’ll hop to school and come back!” you stammer in reply.
Nobody noticed anything unusual about you being half-human and half-kangaroo.
