Kim was in the living room trying to find a new comfortable sitting position with a tail, while Sumin was running in circles enjoying her new additions, when she heard the entrance door open and shut. It didn't take long for the sounds, which she was certain she could’ve heard without fox ears too, to undeniably reveal to her who had just entered.
“Hey, mom, sorry I’m late,” Kim’s older daughter of 15 years, Hwan, said, as she rounded the corner into the room. “Cindy got dumped again and– What the fuck?! Why do you look so weird?” She couldn't hold back a squeak.
Kim found her daughter's reaction a little bit hypocritical, considering it came from a walking pool toy. How did Kim learn that someone from her grocery store ate one of the fruits and gained the power to turn others into pool toys? Because her own daughter volunteered to be turned into one. She did respect her daughter's decision, of course, but it certainly took some getting used to.
Her body had turned into an inflated parody of itself with an exaggerated female figure (which Kim suspected was at least one of the reasons she chose this). Hwan’s shoulder-length black hair was just one inflated mass. She wore a short top to proudly display the nozzle that was replacing her belly button. According to Hwan, only the grocery store worker, who turned her into this, could remove it and thus turn her back.
Sumin ran up to her older sister. “Mommy ate one of these Liliff Fruits and turned into a fox and she gave me those too!” she actually perfectly summarized, while hugging her own tail.
Hwan leaned down and pet her younger sister, who adorably waggled her fox ears. “That's great, I’m so happy for you. And I’m sure mom is enjoying it too,” she added with a shit-eating grin aimed at her mother, which looked as exaggerated as the rest of her body.
Oh, that might be even worse than her family being scared of her, her teenage daughter was being validly smug towards her. Kim was definitely the one who took the longest in adjusting to Hwan’s new body and with her own Lilith Fruit she just set herself up as a massive hypocrite.
Sumin ran out of the room in a way only a little child could. Hwan approached her mother and made sure to slowly take in her whole body from as many angles as she could. Normal families would act that way about tattoos, for the Lis it apparently was transformations. “So, I really didn't take you for a furry. Enjoying the new body?” the pool toy form slightly raised the pitch of her voice, too.
“Harhar… me ending up in this body was an accident.” She didn't know what power the fruit had, so she was right on technicality. Maybe. “No need to be so smug towards the woman, who gave you your body.”
“Technically you didn't give me This body,” Hwan made a point of rubbing her hands down her inflated curves, creating some obnoxious squeaking noise to Kim’s improved hearing.
The sudden noise and having to deal with a teenager disrupted Kim’s rational thinking enough to allow her tail to lash out without her control, hitting her daughter’s back as she was turning. “Ow!” And it stuck. “W-What's going on, mom?” Hwan asked with slight concern, as she noticed the tail connecting their backsides.
Before Kim could explain, the tail separated down the middle with a plop. Hwan held her head in pain for a moment before with two more plops fox ears appeared on her head. But it didn't stop there. Both watched in fascination as a sheen of plastic began to overtake her new foxy additions, turning them into proper parts of the inflatable body as well.
“I’m sorry, Hwan, I can't fully control it yet,” Kim apologized while her daughter was still looking at her new tail.
Hwan experimentally waggled her fox tail and ears. “I should be angry that you did this without asking, but I have to admit, they're kinda cool. I always wanted to know what it’s like to have a tail.”
Another wave of relief hit Kim. She may have accidentally transformed her daughters, but both seemed to like it. Still, she needed to learn to better control this ability of hers.
