Earl went into the local Animal Mask shop in search of the mask of his dreams. He asks the nice anthro moose at the counter for the feral barnyard section. They point to the end of one row and say to look for the gold tags. Earl nearly sprints to the sections and starts looking and finds it. He finds a dairy cow mask. This mask will make him a dairy cow, something he has wanted to be for a very long time. He rushes to the counter to pay for it.
The nice moose asks if he was excited to be a cow.
Earl responded with “Yes. I have wanted to be a cow for a long time and I was just able to get a spot as a milker at a farm for a month to try out being one before I commit.”
“You plan to make it permanent?” asked the moose.
“Yes. I want to be a dairy cow for the rest of my days. Living life with less care and worries.”
“I am glad for you. I will put in the permanent transformation booklet for you. It has all the things you need to know before you commit.”
“Thank you. I have already had a lawyer start the process for me just in case.”
“You are all set, Daisy.”
“Thank you have a nice night.”
Earl got in his truck and drove off to the country. He drove about an hour til he got to the trial farm. Trial farms were places people could go before committing to a permanent transformation or to go as a vacation to be their animal selves if they liked to still be human. They booked up fast, but Earl had been on a waiting list for a year and got the call last week. These places also helped animals with final placement.
Earl was excited as he got out of the truck. He went to the check-in barn. A friendly dog anthro helped him check-in and explained the process.
“Now once you mask up you will be treated like any other cow here. You will have your ear tagged with a real tagging gun and be put into a stall. You will experience three different styles of life since you are a cow. First, you are put with the small farm setup. You will have some outdoor time but not all day and the rest of the time you will be stalled in a mass pen. Next rotation, you will be in an industrial setting. The vast majority of those we place will be placed in this setting, You will have minimal space but lots of feeding time. Lastly, you will be given a free-range lifestyle, lots of space, and only indoors for milking, rain, and overnight. Any questions so far?” asked the dog.
“What about milking?” asked Earl.
“You will not be milked by hand here. You will be attached to a milker at least twice a day. Again this is how the vast majority of our placements will deal with. Ready to mask up and have your first milking?”
“Yes I am,” said Earl excitedly.
“Then let’s go, ma’am.”
