"Looks like you've booked our 'mixed' package!', said Mr. Beck. "You'll be staying in one of our new villas, separate from the main resort building. These villas will automatically change to fit whatever new bodies you have."
"So we can change into anything?", asked Sally, excited at the prospect.
"Yes, quite! You can be a different combination of changes: animals, ages and genders, all together! To start off, though, our villas offer a special 'starter' transformation to guests. These are completely random, and will be a surprise. But I guarantee, you'll find it absolutely enjoyable."
"Well that's exciting!", Jason remarked, holding her daughter's shoulder. The two's imaginations were running wild. Would they be animals?
Would their ages and genders shift? Maybe they'll even be living objects!
Mr. Beck went over another rundown of the resort's rules. Aside from stuff about permanent transformations, he mentioned that clothes were completely optional, though any 'intimate' activities should be kept to either rooms, or specific play areas in the resort. Also, transformations to extra-large animals (like rhinos or elephants) had to happen outside the villas, as the villas can't quite go that big.
Once everything was settled, a bellhop drove both Jason and Sally to the villa via golf-cart.
"So what do you want to be, Sally?", asked Jason, as they went down the resort paths under a sunny sky.
"I don't know. It'll be cool to be a horse, or something flying!", said Sally. She pondered this, as she saw the resort's other guests strolling around. There were quite some animals, some anthropomorphic and some feral. Sally could even spot some mythical ones, like a pack of centaurs (including a boy and a girl her age). She even saw a giant bird with a woman’s head, flying above the resort building.
Soon, they arrived at a brown-roofed house, between a row of others amidst a grassy lawn. After the bellhop unloaded their suitcase, he guided them through their new villa. There were two queen-sized beds, a wall sized mirror, and a slight vibe of a safari hotel. Also, there was a big bathtub/jacuzzi., which the bellhop explained was for aquatic transformations.
"Now, the room's transformation mode won't activate, until you use that box," said the bellhop, pointing to an ornate wooden box on the bed. "That box will trigger our complimentary 'starter transformation', which will fit close to you and your daughters desires. After that, you can wish yourselves into being whatever you want, just by thinking of it."
"What will happen with our clothes?", Jason asked.
"If you're turning into another human form, the room will create clothes that'll fit your new bodies. Any clothes you wear now will also transform. If you're becoming animals, the clothes will disappear until you turn back to your normal selves. So we do recommend you both get undressed before you transform."
"Also, the room will change to fit whatever new bodies you have. That means your luggage may disappear, along with any furniture, depending on what you turn into. You'll get them back, of course."
Understanding this, Jason thanked the bellhop. As the golfcart departed, Jason took in the new accommodations...and the great changes to come.
On the bed, Sally had already opened the lid of the box. There was a big, wooden button inside, with a label written in ornate words: 'TIME FOR A CHANGE!'.
"Don't you want to put on a robe or something first?", her father asked, as he saw Sally's hand itching to press.
"Oh, but I can't wait!", Sally exclaimed. Jason smiled. She had been excited about this trip for weeks now. And this was what they came for. Why put it off now?
He slipped his shoes off. Sitting next to Sally, he put his hand over her daughter's, which already hovered over the button. Jason looked over at her daughter one more time. She was just coming of age, with the same eyes as his dearly departed wife. How strange will it be to see her body change into something else? Something maybe inhuman?
"Ready, dad?"
"Yep. We're ready."
And they pressed together...
