Laura back in her 20s

added by O A year ago AR

"All im saying is we have to be careful," Laura stated. "I mean, look at you Christine! You're the same age as your child now."

Christine giggled now as she thought of that. It was hard to fathom that she and her daughter were now the same age. If she rolled the die again, she could consider herself her child's younger sibling. "Yeah that is crazy now that I think about it," she said. "Still, doesn't mean I wouldn't want to give it one more roll."

Laura simply shook her head, gazing at the attractive young woman. "I swear you're not going to be happy until you're back in pigtails." Christine simply shrugged giving Laura an impish smile. "So Laura how have you avoided getting younger?"

"By tucking the die away carefully," Laura stated. Digging into her pocket, Laura now produced her die, setting it down on the table. "Out of sight, out of mind, and with no chance of an accidental roll. "

Thirty three years you have walked this Earth. Now this number is but twenty nine. Each roll of the dice returns more of what you have lost.

Laura's eyes went wide as the die spoke to her. "But, but I didn't roll," she stammered. Looking at her hands she now watched as the orbs of light now drifted from her body, the now all to familiar feeling of regression washing over her.

Christine watched, mouth agape, as Laura now retreated into her 20s. The womans face appeared to smooth, her skin taking on a youthful glow as she exited her 30s. As the orbs vanished, Christine beheld a youthful looking woman with long, healthy brown hair. Laura's face appearing flawless, while her body appeared more fit with just the loss if a few years.

"Let me guess that was an accident," Christine smirked.

Laura frowned, glancing at the four on her die. "Of course it was," she grumbled. "See I told you. These stupid dice want to be rolled. I wasn't trying to do that, they just took me putting it on the table as a roll. Thats why we have to be careful."

"If you say so," Christine grinned, leaning back in her seat. "Personally I think you look fantastic. You must have been quite the head turner when you were young."

Laura laughed inspite of herself. "More of the girl next door," she smiled. "But seriously Christine. We need to be careful. Yeah being in our late twenties is okay but a few more rolls and we could be in serious trouble."

"Well I'm open for suggestions," Christine stated. Laura now rubbed her chin thoughtfully as she pondered what to do.
