'The world has truly entered a Great (Intellectual) Pirate Era!' Sumin 'Captain' Li mused to herself while she texted her 'crewmates' about their weekly top secret operation tomorrow - to scour the neighborhood for Lilith fruits, 'Pirates' had been going crazy over them ever since the news came out while 'Ninjas' and other anime enthusiasts moaned and complaint about the lack of jutsu and magic.
"...Sing a song, And play along, For all the ocean’s wide~" She hummed merrily as she stepped through the front door.
"Hey Mom, do we have any..." Sumin's voice trailed off as she caught sight of an anthropomorphic fox in the kitchen...
...Wearing the tattered remains of her mother's clothing, no less.
Sumin could barely even put 'Mom' and 'Lilith fruit' together before her world flashed orange and she was washed away by the torrent of warmth and fluff.
So... Soft... Fuzzy...
She resurfaced, briefly.

And then she emerged fully into the waking world once more.
