Julia grabbed the dice or rather managed to do so for a brief moment. The cheap bracelet around her wrist fell over her much smaller hand which wouldn't have been enough except for a slight rocking from the train. The dice fell out of her hands and onto the floor of the bathroom.
"Nine Years you have walked this Earth, now this number is but Three. Each roll of the dice returns more of what you have lost."
"No, no, no, no." Julia saw the bathroom get much bigger or rather she got much smaller. In a few moments, the fourth grader wasn't even ready for pre-school. The small near toddler stumbled in her clothes and her shirt was now a floor length dress.
Julia tried her best not to burst into tears but it was a losing battle.
The bathroom door opened and she looked way up to see. . .
