While the rest of the items seem pretty useless, the ring looks like it could sell for at least a bit of money, so you opt to take it with you. Something tells you that it might be worth your while to try it on, so you check it out while sliding it in your finger. You see a spark of magic come from the ring as you look at your hand and attempt to take it off. It won’t come off, and your body starts to feel warm. You start to get softer and softer as you start to turn clear, your body becoming squishy and slightly gelatinous. You can now see through your hand as you gear dissolves away. Though you retain your body shape, you have now become a clear slime. From here, you have two choices: search the forest for a cure or try to continue on your quest.
