Running down a long path in the store you see the signs for the exit there are four different ways you can go. But which one should you take. You make a guess and start heading off in that direction. Fluorescent store lights and the hard floor gives you a cold sinking feeling the fact that no one is around now when before you couldn't go a few feet for bumping into a sales person.
"Never anyone when you need them," You say in a high-pitched childlike voice. Clapping your hands to your mouth at the foreign voice coming from your lips, you realize that you have regressed far past what is safe. Pulling your hands back you look in horror to see the fingers of a five-year-old.
Within five minutes you realize that you are even more lost then you were before, and that your time is almost up. And if you don't leave the store soon you wont be able to move any more. Already you notice it getting harder and harder to think and your clothes have long since fallen away becoming too big.
Finally, you find saleswoman. Running over to her you try to ask for help. Your thoughts jumbled and mind clouding over quickly, you know you have only a matter of seconds before you are unable to even tell her what is wrong.
She reaches down and picks you up, asking in a soft and calming voice, "Whats wrong little one? Are you lost, get separated from your parents?"
You shake your head vigorously from side to side, "No, I regwessing too fast. Where is exit.." You barely manage to finish your sentence before things blur around you and you feel yourself fading too young to think clearly.
