Narrowing her eyes, Nat began to watch the elderly woman. At first both teens thought this was ridiculous. Real magic. It was all make believe. Sure, Nat's own mother was supernatural in nature but actual magic that one could buy from a store in the mall? Preposterous!
That changed rather quickly as the two teens began to notice the elderly woman's hair. The woman was probably in her 70s, her silver hair in a bun. Slowly the two teens watched as ebony strands began to invade the silver, quickly overtaking it.
As that was occurring, Rei and Nat began to notice the elderly woman's posture shift. The woman straightened, standing taller as she grew steadily younger. After only a moment, where a woman in her 70s stood, now stood a woman in her 30s.
"Um Nat," Rei stammered.
Still the changes persisted, Rei and Nat getting a good look at the woman's face. Wrinkles, age spots, extra skin were being erased. The woman's face became tighter, healthier, nore beautiful with each passing second. Soon an absolutely gorgeous woman with dark hair stood before the teens. The woman's face flawless, her dark eyes sparkling as her body trimmed, approaching her physical prime.
That prime was to be short-lived, however. Descending through her 20s, Nat and Rei watched as the woman's face grew softer, rounder, less adult with each passing second. Now a girl barely out of high school stood before the two teens. The girl's body slimming, her breasts rising and becoming less voluminous. The now 18 year old girl smiling, still seemingly obvious to her changes.
Nat's eyes blinked, her spell finishing with her clothes changing to fit the lass. The resulting outfit being a lime green sports bra and blue yoga pants. Now instead of an elderly woman, a girl fresh out of high school now stood. The eighteen year old sporting a fierce stare of a promising youth ready to take on the world. Her mouth became a wide grin that opened up as she called: "Rei! Nat! Over here!"
"Hey, Cathy." The two made their way to the former senior (in both senses of the word) "How's the college life looking."
"Not sure…"
