Faith liked the feeling of smoking. Her problem was not that she smoked. The problem was how others reacted to her smoking!
Faith repeated these lines a few times in her head. The last time she actually spoke them out loud letting her frustration free in the wind. Then she looked down at the app. Others were the problem but she held the solution. Faith needed to test the app on one colleague first before she could go on and improve the entire workplace, just to be sure she did not mess things up.
She saw Karen through a window. Karen was always first to remind Faith that smoking was bad. Faith was convinced that a lot of the anti-smoking attitude came from Karen her advocating against the habit. This made Karen an ideal subject for her testing. If Karen could be made to smoke then she would not only get a smoking buddy but the greatest obstacle in the workplace would be removed.
Faith opened Karen her profile in the app. It was easy to find her profile as it was near the top of the list. Maybe the app recognized who was closed to the user. Maybe she was just lucky, who knew.
Karen her profile was blanc on the subject of addictions. It seems she had no addictions to speak of. This meant that Faith had to add the slider manually to her profile. Finding the appropriate slider was not as easy as finding Karen her profile itself. The various types of addictions were neatly ordered in alphabetical order. She saw all kinds of addictions. Faith saw that smoking was under the substance abuse tap. Opening this tap Faith selected nicotine. A new slider was added under Karen her habits. The slider was set to zero.
Time to make this day much better Fath thought to herself as she started to move the slider. She herself was on a 90% addiction so it felt only natural to lift Karen up to the same level.
Meanwhile, Karen was sitting at her desk when suddenly she was hit by a truck. Her hand reached her throat as she felt desperate for something. She did not know what it was that she needed. In a panic she rushed outside to get some fresh air. Faith was still outside smoking and playing with her phone. through her panic, Karen was still about to scold Faith that her bad habit was affecting her work but then she inhaled the smoke coming from Faith her direction. Karen opened her mouth took a strong posture and said:
¨Faith, can I please have a sigarrete?¨
