Troy's phone beeped. She stopped crying and carefully extracted it from a pocket hidden in her dress. Her eyes widened.
"Who is it?" Randy asked.
Troy didn't reply. The message on the phone had her attention completely.
>I'm offering you a choice.
>Give me the Book and you will be happy
>Fail to do so in the time limit, and you will suffer
"It's the attacker." Troy moaned quietly. "We can give them the Book and they'll give us mercy. If we don't, reality gets much worse."
"What exactly are they offering?" Rusty asked softly. "Make them clarify."
Troy's fingers sped across her phone.
>What do you mean by happy?
There was a moment, and then text appeared in a reply.
>You will remain a woman. I will give your husband his limbs and eyes back, better than ever. You will temporarily cease to be pregnant.
>Temporarily? Troy replied
>I will give you your marriage night. Once he cums inside you, your pregnancy will hyper accelerate. That will end you and prevent your pursuit.
"He says he'll give you your limbs and sight back, but I stay a woman. You fuck most of my memories away and then the hyperaccelerated pregnancy does the rest." Troy spoke, the words sounding unreal.
"I won't tell you what I want." Rusty spoke slowly. "But I think we're going to lose this, hun. If they can do this to me, another human being, I shudder to think what will happen to you."
Another beep indicating a text had been recieved came from her phone. She looked down
>Your water will break in ten minutes. Reach a decision before then.
"We have ten minutes." Troy swallowed dryly. "And I'll give birth, taking me out of the fight either way."
Rusty nodded. "If you're going to do it, do it now. If you make them wait, they'll punish you for it."
Troy was scared. She didn't want to lose herself. She wrestled with her indecision. A minute ticked by. Rusty was right, if she waited too long, whatever sadistic fuck did this to them would get angry.
>I agree. What do I do?
>Very smart decision. You won't regret it.
That reply came fast.
>Shut all your curtains. Be quick about it. 9 minutes left. Then open the door just enough to leave the book on your front porch. Leave the door unlocked. Sit on your couch. Say nothing.
Troy stood up, wobbling, and hobbled to all the windows. They only had four. It took her five minutes. She was panting heavily. She took the Book in hand and considered the door. If she did this, there was no going back.
