Traveling anywhere, owning anything... You could've just made me lose weight while I was going on the bogus diets, and I didn't get any weight loss from any of those!"
Ty sighed and asked "Do you really want to go down that route?"

Ty sighed and said "I treasure our relationship, and that's why I didn't want you to know I could do literally anything. You think I didn't do any of the things you're imagining when I first got my powers?" Ty shook his head "It was fun at first, but... empty. Anything you want, but it wasn't earned. Can be friends and buds with anyone you want, but that's all just mind control." Ty took another breath "Building knowledge, relationships, and everything with my own hands was the best thing I ever did... and I don't want to lose you because of my powers. You the girl who got my out of my abusive step-family funk, the one who would build her career and claw her way to the top on her own merit." He then stopped and let Michelle talk if she wanted to.

"What do I say to that?" Michelle thought. Michelle didn't want to get some lobotomy to forget that Ty had powers, but them existing did give her a lot of thoughts. A million little bits of revenge she could get, a million bits of inconveniences that could just be eliminated from their lives, and couldn't he just twist fate a bit to make them more lucky than average or something? I mean sure on one hand power corrupts, but on the other hand whatever happened to with great power comes great responsibility?

She loved Ty, the fact that he was with her in their less than perfectly ideal living situation instead of having his way with hookers on the moon or something spoke to how much he enjoyed time here with her.
