Blaze explained all the rules to the burglar now kangaroo & he agreed to follow all of them. He did ask a few questions though. `Do I have to talk in Werespeak to you or any wereanimal here?` he asked in Werespeak. `No.` Blaze answered. And the other question was `Do we have to meet the others every 3rd Saturday of the month?` Blaze answered `No. That's if you want to.` The now kangaroo told Blaze `Then I won't do either.` `Really?` Blaze asked surprised. `Sense I'm a full time kangaroo I want to just be a kangaroo. No different from one.` he told Blaze. `If that's what you want.` Blaze said understanding (or so he thought) `So I'll just be one of the zoo's kangaroos from now on; nothing more, nothing less. Just treat & think of me as just a normal kangaroo please.` he told Blaze. Blaze agreed to Hugo's wishes. The burglar turned kangaroo ended up getting named Hugo by the zoo owner when he decovered this new kangaroo. The werezebra former staff member did register the now Hugo as a rescue kangaroo that can't return to the wild in the computer. And Hugo began to really enjoy his new life as a zoo kangaroo. He also didn't try to escape the kangaroo enclosure once. Infact he never ever left it at all; he had zero desire to. Hugo after 2 weeks of practice, Blaze's teachings & watching the normal kangaroos learned how to act like one just like Blaze. By the 2nd weeks end Hugo completely stopped speaking in Werespeak or human. After that Blaze couldn't tell Hugo from a normal kangaroo. Hugo had mastered mimicking the normal kangaroos finely quickly. He mastered the kangaroos mannerisms & behaviors totally. He did this way faster than Blaze did. Blaze did soon realize unlike him Hugo was actually trying to totally be just a normal kangaroo like the other kangaroos. Unlike Blaze though Hugo never broke from the simple kangaroo character (even after the zoo closed every night). After a month Blaze actually started to believe Hugo might of somehow actually succeed in his goal to be a simple normal kangaroo. He might of rewrote his mind to be a simple normal kangaroo. Why Blaze thought this is because he couldn't tell Hugo from the other kangaroos because he acted just like them now. Blaze wasn't saddened by that all. Hugo seemed very happy & content as a kangaroo.
So the 3rd Saturday of the month came around again & when 11:00 pm came the zoo closed as normal. Blaze yelled for someone to let him out of the enclosure. This time it was a female gray weresquirrel that let him out. They began talking as they headed to the staff room. As the 2 travelled Blaze was told by the female weresquirrel she was born & raised as a squirrel. Confused Blaze asked `What you talking about?` She explained that her whole family is squirrels. She was born a squirrel & was raised as one. Also only a few years ago she found out she was a wereanimal. Questioning Blaze asked `So what's that mean?` She chuckled 'I'm a squirrel though & though. I am squirrel that found out they can amuse an anthro form.` Blaze thought about that & asked curious `Do you have a human form?` The weresquirrel replied `Don't know. And don't care Blaze.` Blaze asked curious `Why not?` She replied `Frankly I don't want to be a human. Being an animal is so much better. We are so free. So simple. We don't worry about what clothes fits or what looks good on us because we don't ever wear anything at all.` Blaze had never thought about it like that. `Frankly I think us animals are better than humans.` she went on. Thinking Blaze felt this weresquirrel might be right. `So...does the zoo owner know you're a wereanimal?` Blaze asked wondering. `He is aware that every so many years one of us gray squirrels in this zoo is born a wereanimal. Not sure if he knows I am though.` She answered. `So you got a name? As far as I know squirrels normally don't. And if so what is it?` The female gray weresquirrel replied `Well a human did name me..
