On a quiet residential street, a magic portal opened. Two women, one of them holding an inquisitive golden dragon, walked through it, and Barry took a deep breath of the baking summer air.
"Aww, summer in a world with global warming. I kind of miss it" giggled the gorgeous black woman.
"This heat is nothing to an Asian" Regina grinned. "Anything below 40 degrees Celsius" is sweater weather."
Barry looked around the comfortable tree lined neighborhood, her eyes beaming.
"So this is really another dimension?"
"Yep, it is. I don't why you're so excited, Barry, you've been living in one for over a month."
"I knoooow, but this is an adventure!" Barry squealed. "We're gonna save the world! Maybe meet some new friends. This is cool! So which house do these ladies live in?"
"That one" Regina pointed her finger, holding onto Sheena with one hand. "The one with the arbor."
"So what do we do? Should we just go up and knock?" Barry asked.
"That's the idea. Except, I'm not entirely sure these ladies are ready for Sheena yet."
Regina kissed her familiar on the forehead.
"Go have fun. Try to stay out of trouble though. Don't kiss *anyone*. In fact, try and avoid humans and animals altogether."
"Yes Regina" Sheena answered in its unearthly voice.
"I'm sorry. I know that I'm being a party pooper. But we can't take any risks meeting people in this world."
Regina lifted the golden dragon into the air and let her fly off.
"Meet me back here in an hour!" Regina yelled as Sheena flew down the street.
*Yes Regina*, the Sorceress Supreme heard her familiar psychically inform her.
Behind her, Barry giggled again. She was full of giggles this morning.
"What's so funny, Chuckles?" Regina asked.
"You. You're such a mom. The way you treat Sheena like she's your child. It's adorable."
Regina rolled her eyes.
"I am the *Sorceress Supreme*. Do you have *any* idea how little free time I have between my responsibilities, teaching my students physics, and spending time with you?"
"I'm telling you, just give it some thought. I think you'd enjoy being a mom!"
"Yeah, maybe. I feel like a mom dealing with you and all of your questions sometimes. Not to mention Aziza and Kylie."
Barry and Regina held hands as they walked up to the door. Barry pressed the doorbell and heard the ring from inside the house.
A very attractive teenage girl with curly red hair and freckles answered the door.
"Yeah?" she asked.
"We're Jehovah's Witnesses. Have you thought about God lately?" Barry said, suddenly giggling, doubling over.
Regina rolled her eyes for the second time today.
"Are you Meiko Weir?" Regina asked.
"No, I'm Shannon. Who are you?" she asked dubiously.
Behind Shannon, Regina saw a pair of supernaturally beautiful women in the living room, peeking to see who was at the front door.
