"Meh, nothing special. Connor and I were just going to go to the park together." Spark said holding Connor's hand and fluttering her eyes at her boyfriend.
"Well, let's all go, I'm sure there's something interesting we can find there." Nat said as she took Rei's hand and they all headed out towards the park.
"Don't even think about holding my hand." Miranda told Miles as she glared at him. Nat, Rei, Connor, Spark, Miles, and Miranda had thought that the park would be a quiet and relaxing day, instead they found the park's parking lot to have something they didn't expect.
"A car show?" Spark said.
"Oh neat, my dad and uncle took me and my brother to these a few times." Connor told them as they looked around.
"Yeah, I remember, and I remember I found it so boring. They're just boxes with wheels on them if you really think about it. Anyway, I....oh my god, someone's selling snow cones over there! Come on Connor!" Spark said excitedly as she pulled her boyfriend over to where they were selling snow cones.
Miles and Miranda walked around with Nat and Rei looking at all the cars, they came over to one blue coupe that looked like it needed a new paint job along with a few other alterations to it. They noticed the owner hadn't shaved in quite a long time and he was looking kind of sad as he sat next to his vehicle. Miranda saw a teenage girl standing next to the blue coupe and she had plenty of piercings on her as well as dark makeup on to complete her goth look.
"Hi, is this your car?" Miranda asked the girl.
"My car? No, it's my lame dad's car, this is practically everything he has left. My mom left him like....four months ago....he really hasn't been....himself lately but....whatever....I told him to come here cause I thought he'd be happy....but he's just being miserable as usual. That's my job...ugh...whatever. Later, losers." The goth girl said as she sat inside the car.
Miranda pondered for a moment and then looked over at Nat and Rei.
"Hey Rei, maybe fixing up the car would make that man a little happier?" Miranda suggested.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt." Rei then used the ring on the car to make it look brand new. But the oddest thing occurred and something they didn't expect, the goth girl was also changing as well. Her black hair became a bright red, the piercings which were once on her face disappeared completely and her outfit changed into something more colorful and a hat appeared on her head. She stepped out of the car looking like a woman straight out of the 1940s now and was much older it seemed closer to her former father's age.
"Hi there." The woman greeted the man as the man looked up gave a polite smile to the woman.
"I was going through the show and noticed your lovely vehicle, do you think I could...take a ride in it?" The woman politely asked.
"Uh...oh, yeah, sorry, I must've not noticed you there before. Been a long time since anyone wanted to ride in my old car." The man said.
"I don't see why not. It's a lovely car, and it's owned by a lovely man. You just need a little shave and a new suit, and you're quite...handsome." The woman said with a chuckle as the two of them got into the car.
The four friends had watched and were quite amazed what had happened.
"For the record, I had no idea the spell would also change her with her in it." Rei admitted to the others as they went to check out the rest of the car show.
