Immediately, Jeremiah felt himself shrink again, just enough so his shirt's sleeves completely covered his hands.
He saw the display on the scales changing - 105lbs... 104lbs... 103lbs... 102lbs.... 101lbs dead.
Jeremiah grabbed the tape measure, and stood against the door, using the book to mark his next new height. With the tape measure he moved towards the new mark.
it was 42 inches now.
he was now 3'2!
"Holy cow!" Jeremiah said. "3'2"? I'm gettin' smaller than ever!"
Jeremiah stared at himself. He saw his bare feet could hardly be seen under his now too-large shirt.
"Why, it's only a matter of time till I shrink so small, I'll end up as 'The Smallest Dairy Farmer in Indiana'!"
Jeremiah knew he'd be the laughing stock of Indiana if everyone saw him.
