Jack followed Jacob up to his door. Jacob’s breath had been terrible. He must chew on onions or garlic or something. Jack had almost gagged as the man had kissed her. And she could still feel the effects of the nipple squeeze Jacob had given her. For some strange reason she felt more violated than she had felt after sex with Rick. At least the sex had sought been consensual. Fortunately though, Jacob was following through on his promise to let ‘Sharon’ into Jack's unit.
Jack was in after a final grope of her bum from Jacob who departed with a cry of ‘Just call me if you require any services honey’
Jack shut the door and put the security chain in place. She did not like the idea of Jacob having a key to the unit any longer. She tried to breath calmly and take stock of her situation.
She was inside. If what Sharon had said was correct all she had to do was touch the medallion to some of her male clothes and she would get her old body back. She had plenty of clothes here but did she have the medallion?
She went to the kitchen and began to methodically unpack the handbag. 10 minutes later she was a blubbering mess. The medallion was not in the bag. Everything under the sun was in there except for the magical medallion.
Jack sat there for a period of time. She composed herself then thought through her options. There was only one. She would have to go back to Rick’s house. Sharon must have hidden the medallion elsewhere. How she could have overlooked it in her search of the house she did not know. How would she explain to Rick where she had been? She knew she would be punished. Rick was a controlling man, he would not take kindly to his wife’s attempt to run away. That led to another thought. Were Sharon and Rick married? Sharon didn’t wear a ring and she certainly hadn’t given Jack a ring to wear since the body swap. Jack didn’t know. He had to get back there quickly. She had to think of an excuse as to why it had taken her more than 2 hours to go to the supermarket and back.
Before leaving she collected a spare key so that next time she needed to get into the unit she would not need to call on Jacob next time she was here. Hopefully she would be Jack again so that wouldn’t matter but just in case the key would be handy. She also collected a sock that belonged to “Jack” and placed it in the handbag. That should be enough to change her back once she got hold of the medallion. She also went to her emergency cash supply, hidden in the pantry. She collected $300. Then rang a taxi. She could not afford to waste time catching buses.
