Luna Lyall stood outside of Stokerville Skin & Laser Center, trying not to cry. The werewolf had been shaving and waxing her ample body hair since high school, and she had recently decided to laser it off permanently. After all, she had an image in her college sorority to keep up, and she was hoping to juggle her future alpha duties with a high-powered job in the human world, such as a lawyer or a businesswoman. Bearing that in mind, she'd taken advantage of Spring Break to book an appointment at Stokerville Skin & Laser Center for an extensive lasering of the body hair humans seemed to despise so much.
It was only now, standing outside the aesthetic dermatology center after a full-body lasering, that the full impact of what she'd done hit Luna. Her magnificent coating of body hair was... gone. Forever. Luna had thought she'd wanted this, to make her body look beautiful to her human friends in college, but all she wanted in the world right now was for her body to look beautiful to herself.
Luna ruefully stroked her bald forearm and grimaced. True, she'd been shaving even before the lasering, but back then she'd been free to regrow it whenever she'd felt ready. Now, in a single lapse of judgement, Luna had foolishly destroyed it all. Everything from was burned away down to the roots by the laser, everything: Luna's sideburns, her armpit hair, her arm hair, her chest hair, her nipple hair, her back hair, her treasure trail, her hairy ass, the hairs on the tops of her feet, even her formerly magnificent and curly bush that once crowned her pussy.
The Only hair on Luna's body was now her head lustrous red locks and her delicately sculpted eyebrows. Luna mourned her gorgeous, thick body hair that she'd never get a chance to regrow now. Why the hell did she think laser hair removal was a remotely good idea? Stupid, stupid, stupid! Luna was glad she was wearing clothes; she suddenly didn't want anybody to see her hairless body.
Luna flinched when she saw her girlfriend, Lucy Littlewolf, approaching. Luna wanted to run before her mate saw her shameful lasered body, but she'd already been spotted. She sighed and waved to Lucy.
The Native American werewolf waved back as she sprinted up to Luna. "Hi, Luna! How'd the lasering go?"
Luna fought back tears. "Oh Lucy, I've made a horrible mistake! My body hair's gone, and there's nothing I can do to take it back!"
"But I thought you wanted to ditch your body hair," said Lucy.
Luna sighed deeply. "I thought I did, but now that I've gone through with it, I fucking hate it! It's only when you've lost your body hair forever that you truly start to appreciate its beauty. I... I just don't feel like a real werewolf to myself anymore."
Lucy gave Luna a kiss. "It's gonna be okay, sweetie. You're still beautiful to me, body hair or no body hair. You're still a real werewolf, too. You can still shift, and your awfully furry then, right?"
"Yeah," Luna sighed, "but my human form's all wrong. This just isn't what a werewolf's human body is supposed to look like! Mom was right, I never should've got into shaving and waxing in the first place. Oh Moon, Mom! What the hell am I gonna tell Mom?! I mean, Diana'll just make fun of me, and Selena'll ignore me, but Mom?! She'll be furious! You've seen the pride she takes in her own body hair, and you should've been there for the fight we had when I first started shaving. What the actual fuck am I gonna tell her?!"
"Nothing for now," Lucy advised. "You were already shaving, so she won't notice. That'll buy us some time to see if we can fix this."
"Do you really think we can reverse this?" Luna asked, feeling under her arms, longing for the hairy pits she'd enjoyed in middle school.
Lucy smiled hopefully as she slid her russet-hued arm around her mate's waist. "The only way to find out is try it. Now let's go and get an ice cream sundae to take your mind off things."
