Many many years a ago, there was a British noble. Grown bored with sitting around in his lavish manor all day, he took to exploring the world, discovering new places, their indigenous cultures, and eventually robbing them blind, leaving numerous villages missing their few valuables as the noble took their possessions to feed his growing collection of trophies.
Among these were numerous small fertility idols, painstakingly carved out of precious metals by the natives. The noble dedicated an entire room to these idols, admiring the womanly figures carved within.
But eventually the noble fell on hard times, and was forced to sell his collection, including the idols. They were melted down, their precious metals mixing in the crucible as they were cast into something else. Unbeknownst to anyone, these idols contained actual power of the tribal goddesses, power that mixed and festered along with the idols as they were remade into something new. Power which has stood untouched all these years, until this day when an unsuspecting customer will pick up one of these items from the shelves of the Magic Shop...
