The brunette’s eyes grew as wide as dinner plates.
“OH SHIT, THE PIZZA!!!!” Lucy screamed as she bolted for the oven.
The oven door flung open as a plume of smoke billowed forth.
The crust and cheese were charred dark, pepperoni grease boiling like oil in a pan.
“I THOUGHT YOU SET THE TIMER!!!!” Lucy screamed at Jamie.
“I DID!” Jamie stomped, taking pause before letting out “Ohhhhh, for the pizza! Nah, it was for my nail art.”
“Omigawd that’s so cute!” Mari beamed as she looked at her bestie’s hands, “Frenchies and roses?!”
“Yeah, it was like, super hard to do the wrinkles.” Jamie added.
“DIO CAZZO, DANNAZIONE!!!!” The brunette screamed as she furiously slammed the oven door. “CAN’T YOU BRAINLESS SKANKS DO ANYTHING RIGHT?!?!”
Marinette and Jamie pouted.
“I’m sick of your shit! You can eat cereal for all I care!!!!!!” Lucy screamed as she stormed off.
“What about us?” Lori asked.
“LIKE I GIVE A SHIT!” Lucy shouted as she locked the door to Colin’s bedroom.
***********************************************
Colin put the last plate in the dishwasher and turned to see that Lucy wasn’t in the living room.
He walked to his bedroom and knocked on the door.
“Lucy?” He called.
The brunette opened the door, her eyes red and puffy and her hair all frizzed up.
Lucy laid back down in the bed, curled up in a ball as Colin laid down next to her.
“I’m sorry I yelled….” Lucy sighed. “those two idiots just get under my skin…”
“It was just a pizza, it’s okay…” Colin said.
“IT WASN’T JUST A PIZZA, I MADE IT FOR YOU BY MYSELF!” Lucy angrily cried, “It was the first thing we had together when I became your second girlfriend.”
Colin paused with a thought ‘Second? Wasn’t she the third?’
“Life sucked after I left high school, you’ve been the best thing to happen to me… and I just wanted to give you something special….” Lucy sighed sniveling.
Colin paused.
“You know what?” He asked.
“W-What?” Lucy said sniffing in a strand of snot.
“I’m doing something special for you.” Colin said as he wiped her tears away with his thumb, “First thing tomorrow.”
“Really?” Lucy smiled with misty eyes.
Colin hugged her tight. “Really.”
