Selene woke up late, nursing a headache from staying up last night before. The nerd marathoned a new game and a smile appeared on her face at the thought, not regretting it one bit. “The magic of school holidays,” thought the thirteen-year-old. The pain however still got on her nerves, not helped by the bright blue paint of her walls.
After some thinking in her bed, she stood up, to see a note lying on her bed. “Good day, Selene. You were chosen as the one receiving omnipotent powers by us, the P-Continuum. “ What?
“To use it, simply cross your fingers and say a statement. It will turn true.” This looked like her siblings are pranking her again. They were never this obvious though.
She simply took the piece of paper and threw it in the wastebasket. “Stupid.” she muttered as she walked back to her desk. Another small note sat on the table, which was empty before.
“This is no prank! Just cross your fingers and say a statement!” it read.
Selene breathed in and out. “Fine I will say something stupid and cross my fingers,” she said, “hopefully then this bullshit will end.”
Sitting down at the window, she thought something up. “Pigs will fly.” Her fingers were crossed and she felt stupid for believing it.
Suddenly pink forms appeared in the sky and she recognized those, but… “What the fuck…” Those were pigs, that flew!
Another Test! “The walls are violet.” The change was instant, a dark violet surrounding her.
Another note seemed to have appeared on her table, next to the other one, and she took it with trepidation. “What did they say? It is real. Now that that is out of the way, have fun!”
Selene stood there, stunned.
