After a while of thought, Alissa grins, “you know, Maxine needs a handbag,” she says.
Ricky's eyes widen and he shakes his head, “no... not that,” he says, “why can't I just stay home alone? I am old enough to look after myself.”
“Because, 8 years old is not old enough,” Alissa says.
“Well, then turn me back to my original age,” Ricky says with a scowl and his arms crossed.
“Nope,” Alissa says, “I don't wanna be a triplet.”
“I don't wanna be some item,” Ricky says, “what if I get stolen... or broken?”
Max/Maxine then says, “if you'd become my handbag, I wouldn't let you out of my sight.”
Ricky looks at his brother, now sister, “bu-but...,” he starts.
“No buts,” Alissa says, “either you become a handbag, or I'll think of something else. I could turn you into a furniture... what would you think of becoming a toilette?”
This makes Ricky feel extremely nervous, “NO!”
“Well, then become a handbag for Maxine,” Alissa says, “it's only for a few hours and I'll transform you back, then you get a turn with the device.”
Ricky and Maxine look at Alissa, “you promise,” Ricky asks.
Neither of them notice Alissa crossing her fingers behind her back as she replies, “of course I promise,” she says.
“Well,...,” Ricky says, then he lets out a sigh, “okay... fine.”
Alissa smiles wide, “great,” she says and opens Ricky's file. The girl then starts to edit the boy's stats. She starts by choosing his torso to become the actual roomy handbag, Alissa selects the brand of the bag to be “Gucci”. Maxine and Alissa look through the various of handbags, “so, any handbag you like... sis,” Alissa asks.
Maxine is overwhelmed, “holly crap,” she says, “those are some expensive looking handbags.”
Alissa nods, “yeah, Gucci is one of the most expensive brands,” she says.
“Um... I'd rather not to become something which looks expensive,” Ricky says, “I'll get stolen for sure.”
“Calm down Ricky,” Maxine says, without looking up from the device, “I told you that I'll keep a close I on you. I will not let you out of my sight.”
“I know what you said,” Ricky replies, “but I still have a bad feeling about this.”
“Come one Maxine,” Alissa says, who is ignoring Ricky's whining, “we don't have all day.”
After a while Maxine says, “I really like that black leather handbag with the golden shoulder chain and secure clip.”
Alissa smiles, “great choice, sis,” she says and selects the bag.
“Stop calling me that,” Maxine says, “I am mentally still a boy you know.”
Alissa ignores her as she continues to edit Ricky, next the girl sets Ricky's arms to become the golden shoulder chain. She then selects the boy's head to become the secure clip of the handbag and his face to become the big double “G” logo of “Gucci” on the clip. “Now, since your head and torso will be the handbag,” Alissa says, “your legs and organs will become items to fill it.”
“Wait... what,” Ricky says.
Maxine starts to become nervous herself, “um... Alissa,” she says, “don't you think that you are going to far?”
“Nonsense,” the girl says, “you two should relax, nothing will happen to Ricky,” she adds. Maxine and Ricky both look at each other as Alissa already continues to type into the device, both knowing that they can't stop Alissa once her mind is set on something. Alissa continues with the settings, she moves to Ricky's left leg, typing in the command that it will become a red lipstick, while Ricky's left leg would become a mascara. Ricky's heart is set to become a golden girl's wristwatch, his stomach is set to become a purse, the boy's ribs and bones are set to become loose change and paper money. Alissa continues to type and set the Chronivac, changing everything about Ricky, Ricky's brain is set to become Maxine's new phone, a Samsung Galaxy 52A. After almost an hour, Alissa finally stops typing and looks up, “all set,” she says, “but since we have lost precious time, the transformation will be instant,” and before any of them could respond she hits enter.
Ricky lets out a scream as he feels his body and organs change rapidly, soon a black Gucci handbag is sitting on the floor.
Maxine walks over to the “handbag” and picks it up with shaky hands, she opens the bag and gasps as she sees all of the items, which were once parts of her/his brother.
“So,” Alissa says, “what do you think?”
Max/Maxine is unsure of what to say, “um... pretty cool,” she says, not sounding very happy.
Alissa on the other hand is super excited, so excited that she seemingly does not hear Maxine's unhappy tone. “Let's get ready and head out,” Alissa says, “I want to do some shopping with my new sis.”
“Okay,” Maxine says, she then looks at Alissa, “but I am not using any one of the items in the “bag”, I don't want Ricky to alter or change unwillingly,” she says sternly.
“Okay fine,” Alissa says, “you can use some of mom's makeup and reid your piggy bank.”
Maxine nods, she puts her “handbag” down on her bed and heads to the bathroom to get herself ready, hoping to herself, that Alissa does not do anything else.
