Nova, Spark, and Connor made their way through the crowd and finally came across Nat and Rei with Miles and Miranda not too far behind them. Rei waved to them as they saw them approach while Nat looked at the woman behind them curiously.
"Hey guys, we were wondering where you went, who's this woman with you?" Miles asked them.
"Everyone this is Nova...my mother." Spark said sounding slightly embarrassed.
"Whoa, your mom? So she's a fairy too?" Miranda asked.
"Yes, my full name is No'valee, but Nova sounds much easier for humans to say like my little Spa'kalth here has adopted 'Spark' as her own name." Nova said kissing Spark on her head.
"Mom, please...don't embarrass me anymore in front of my friends." Spark insisted as she crossed her arms.
"Alright, now let's see here...human....human....human....oh, a damphir." Nova said as she carefully grabbed Nat's head and looked over her face.
"Spark, why is your mom looking at me like an experiment?" Nat asked.
"Sorry, fairies and damphirs rarely ever interact together. She only saw one other damphir like I don't know eighty three years ago?" Spark assumed.
"Eighty three years? But she looks...." Connor began to say before he stopped as Spark and Nova looked at him.
"....just as beautiful as Spark, who's the most beautiful girl I know." Connor finished as Spark smirked then gave him a soft punch in the arm and kissed him on the lips for the compliment.
"You are a very special child young one, you will definitely grow as beautiful as your own mother I assume." Nova said as she finished looking over Nat.
"Oh, thank you." Nat thanked.
"I can also sense that you have a deep passion for this one." Nova said motioning towards Rei. "It seems that you want to use your tongue to..."
"MOM!" Spark shouted as Nat, Rei, and Spark were all blushing bright red.
"Alright, I'm sorry about that. Now, Spark, may we come to your betrothed's house for dinner tonight with your friends?" Nova asked her daughter.
"Betrothed?!" Nat, Rei, Miles, and Miranda said shocked.
"Well, I guess you can come over if that's okay with Connor...wait, 'we'? Mom, what did we mean by we?" Spark asked a little concerned.
"Well dear...a few of your sisters wanted to see how you were doing...so they also came by with me. Here they come now." Nova said as she heard two more familiar voices.
"Spark?" "Oh, little sister!"
"Oh no, mom, tell me you didn't bring...!" Spark began to say before two older looking girls scooped her up in a hug.
"Not Midnight and Starlight." Spark groaned as she was hugged by her sisters.
"That's Midna and Star little sis." The purple haired one named 'Midna' said to her young sister.
"We can't wait to see where you're living with your betrothed." Orange haired Star said as she looked over at Connor.
"Oh, Spark, he's going to grow up to be a very....big man." Star said as she and Midna chuckled.
"Great! A family reunion." Connor said.
"Great, a family reunion." Spark groaned as Nova now began talking with Connor and Spark's other friends.
"Come on, I'm sure your sisters are great." Connor said to Spark.
"Yeah? Just wait until you have to deal with your twin sisters." Spark said to Connor.
