Grace and Karen are at work, Grace looking over her plans for her newest client's apartment, Karen filing her nails, a half-drunk martini in her hand and her pills on her desk. Karen looks up at Grace, who is wearing a pale blue blouse and jeans.
"What's going on here? What's this? What's happening?" Karen exclaims as she points at Grace's clothes.
"Karen, I've got far too much to do. I'm not paying you to criticise my clothes. Go back to filing your nails."
At just that moment, someone knocked on the office door. Grace indicates for Karen to answer, but Karen doesn't seem to notice. Shrugging, Grave heads over to the door, where a buff deliveryman hands her a package and a clipboard.
"That's quite a package there." Karen exclaims with a grin and a wink. "And I don't mean the box."
Grace signs the clipboard, thanks the man, and shuts the door.
"What's in the box?" Karen asks before Grace has moved from the door.
"Well, let's just see." Grace walks over to her bench and proceeds to open the box. Inside is a device that is clearly meant to attach to a computer. Being a techno-ignorant, Grace and Karen puzzle over the strange object for a moment.
By chance, Will drops by at that moment, not knocking before entering.
"Hey Gracie. Wanna go to lunch?"
"Yeah, sure," Grace replies, "Will, do you have any idea what this is?"
Will heads over to the bench and looks over the device for a moment.
"Well?" Grace asks.
"It looks like a device I heard about not long ago. It's called a... Chronivac, if I remember correctly."
"What does it do, Wilma?" Karen asks in her usual, annoying manner.
"They say it can actually change living things, mold a person to a different form. I always thought it was just a legend, or maybe a hoax."
Grace responds "So how do we use it?"
"We attach it to a computer, and then give it instructions. Only problem is, we need someone to try it on."
