There was no doubt Jack had left the handbag in Jacob's apartment. Jacob's apartment was the last place she currently wanted to return to but what choice did she have?
Reluctantly she put Sharon's clothes back on. She could hardly return to Jacob's apartment in a towel. That would be asking for trouble. She also took a moment to comb her blonde hair.
Retrieving her spare key which she put in her pocket she left her own unit and walked downstairs to Jacobs. She tentatively knocked on the door.
After a minute Jacob opened the door. His face softened when he saw who it was 'Sharon! Come in! I didn't expect you to see you so soon!'
'Uh I just want to retrieve my handbag. I think I left it here'
'Is Jack back?'
'No not yet'
'Well stay for dinner with me. I was just about to order some Indian. There's a wonderful restaurant that do deliveries just around the corner. I was about to order'
'I just want my handbag' To be truthful the idea of eating Indian was tempting. She knew the restaurant well. The food was delicious.
'Can't say I've seen it. Where did you leave it?' That was a lie. Jacob had found the woman's bag in his bedroom. He had hidden it in his wardrobe in the hope that "Sharon" would return and look for it
'I think in the lounge. I'm not sure'
'Well come in and get it' Jacob held the door open.
Jack went in quickly and began to search for the handbag. It wasn't in the lounge. She then hurried to the bedroom and bathroom, the only rooms she had visited earlier.
Meanwhile Jacob deadlocked his door before pouring two glasses of wine. He was very happy that he had taken that blue tablet as soon as he had found the handbag. He could already feel his body part responding to the presence of the woman. He then casually used his phone to ring and order dinner from the restaurant.
