"Ha, don't you remember niño?" Raoul laughed. "We're going to your cousin Estella's birthday party."
Well, that sounded like Roy's perfect opportunity! A house filled with people who are all going to be hanging around for a decent amount of time. He smirked, realizing that he could have a lot of fun experimenting with the device there. He thanked Raoul and then quickly used the role swapper once more. In an instant, he found himself once again in the life role of Juanita. He turned around to see Miguel back in his own booster seat, unaware that just a moment ago he was living his mother's life.
A few minutes later and they had arrived at what Roy assumed was Estella's house. It was a two story house that seemed to take inspiration from latin American designs with red, rounded and ceramic roof tiles and yellowish white, concrete exterior. Roy stepped out, nearly slipping after forgetting he was wearing heels, but managed to catch himself quite quickly. Luckily, nobody saw that, but he made a mental note to be careful with changing clothes, as if he swapped himself he didn't want to draw attention.
"Ah, hello mi hermano!" A voice called out.
Roy turned to see an even chubbier woman than the real Juanita walk out with a strut, happily raising her arms in preparation for a hug. Raoul came around the car, and gave the woman a large hug. Roy was thankful it wasn't Juanita's family, so he didn't need to fake being family. He looked over the woman, noticing her stretchy yoga outfit, and curly hair tied in a messy bun. She had makeup galore, and way too much jewelry.
"Hola Rosita." Raoul laughed. "It's good to see you."
"Ay, you're very early." She laughed. "Come in come in, make yourself at home."
Roy followed the others inside, finding a nice house decorated with many nicknacks and expensive decorations with the name "Estella" plastered everywhere. He couldn't help but note that Raoul's sister must've made more money than Raoul's family. Though, from what he saw, it didn't seem like Raoul had any bad blood.
Inside, Elena and Miguel ran up to greet what Roy assumed was Estella. Estella was an adorable, roughly 5 year old girl, wearing a poofy pink dress. She had curly pigtails and a tiara to match her adorable dress. She hugged Elena and Miguel gave her a high five as they began to talk with one another.
Roy found a corner of the kitchen to sit in, and began to take not of everyone coming into the house. He was paying attention to names that Rosita greeted them with. There were more relatives of Raoul, such as older uncles and aunts with their own kids of various ages. There were also what he assumed were classmates entering too. There was an Asian family with twin girls, and an African American couple with one little girl. There were two white couples, one with two twin girls and another with a single girl. After that was more family, as what appeared to be Raoul's parents arrived, walking in on their walkers to greet their granddaughter.
"You okay there Juanita?" A voice arose, shocking Roy back to reality.
"H-huh?" He asked, turning to see the African American mother, who Roy heard was named Jennifer. "Oh, ye- sí, I'm okay, just thinking." He replied, flustered at this woman's beauty.
"Well alright, you take your time. The rest of us are gonna be getting some food soon. I think there's empanadas." She laughed before walking off.
Roy had so many options now, and he almost couldn't decide. He began to think, his mind racing, and he came up with a couple fun tests he could run. So, what does he decide to do?
