All of the toddlers, including Selina, began to be ushered into a room where they proceeded to be dressed in winter clothing. Reina was the one to dress Selina, putting her in a big, poofy black coat, a black hat with cat ears on it, white snow boots, and thick, white mittens.
After they were dressed, the workers took them to the entrance of the daycare. Selina began to wonder where they planned to take them. Leaving the daycare, Selina discovered where they were supposed to be taken.
In front of the daycare there were about two vans, so she assumed that they were going on a field trip. Both vans had the name of the daycare painted on their sides with the difference that one of them had the name in blue and the other in pink.
Soon Selina watched as Reina carried her to the pink van where she was the first to be placed in one of the child seats. Selina tried to protest since she didn't want to go on a trip with them but immediately Reina put a pacifier in her mouth.
Selina knew very well that the pacifier she had in her mouth was not hers but as much as she tried to spit it out, sucking on this pacifier gave her a sense of calm which she needed now.
Before the van was about to move on, Selina finally found out where her true pacifier was.
