Unsure what to do, if anything at all, you feel lost. Everything feels. . . different. Taking a deep breath, you try your best to gather yourself. "This can't be permanent. . . right?" You say aloud in your newer slightly deeper voice. You know that's a lie Up until a few days ago 'magic' never existed outside of movies and bedtime stories, now you have seen and felt magic first hand. "You can think about this on the way home" you think to yourself, not wanting to look out of place standing idly outside of a magic shop like some sort of weirdo.
Something was off. It takes you a second to realize that the voice in your head matches your new bassy voice. You try to picture what you sounded like before but you can't. The harder you think the more your head starts to spin until you have to stop to sit down somewhere, giving yourself a nasty headache. You spot a bench, just across the street near a park. Waiting for traffic to clear you hustle across the street as not to get hit by any approaching vehicles. The feeling is alien to you, the way your body now jiggles and bounces to your movements. Noticing also that you are slightly out of breath upon reaching the bench.
Sitting on the wooden bench causes the wood to strain a bit from your heft, something else that you will have to get used to. You stop, to feel the cool breeze run over your newly bald head. you shudder at the idea that you will never have a full head of hair again. How will your boyfriend react? Oh, that's right Yosef said he should know I am like this, the ENTIRE WORLD does. You cant see your relationship with Mark surviving this though, he's never been into bigger guys, borderline vain about it too. You were always the more submissive one and he loved towering over you. As you stand now, nearly 6'4" if you were to guess, there is no way he could maintain that power dynamic.
You look down at your protruding gut and the now dark sweat stains forming over your new floppy moobs and you do everything in your power not to burst out into tears. "Think of the positives. . . I always wanted to be taller, and what guy hasn't wished for a larger package?" you manage to shakily get out between your sniffles. Taking a few deep breaths you get up, almost losing your balance from your new center of gravity, and you head home.
