Your curiosity gets the better of you and you head back to the shop to see what Uncle Jack is up to. As you round the corner you spot two figures in long blue robes and pointy hats at the front of the store. One looks to be over 7 feet tall, robes tightly clinging to his hefty torso. The other is short and looks a little stocky though it was hard to tell under the robes.
They are both chatting and laughing as they enter the costume shop. You slip in behind them unnoticed as the door closes.
“Jack you old dog, where are you?” Bellows the shorter wizard into the store.
“Willy, Boris! it’s so good to see you.” Jack pops out from behind a shelf and walks up wrapping the two other wizards in a big bear hug.
The three middle aged men start catching up on nothing in particular. Discussing how their various businesses were going, complaining about the decline in modern cauldron quality, and how expensive it was to rent on ley lines. Jack talks about how his darling nephew was visiting and shows them some of his latest costumes and they seem amused.
Your new creations are impressive as always Jack,” Willy (the short one) slaps your uncle on the back after he takes off he fire breathing dragon mask “but seeing as you nephew might be coming back in a few hours I think we should get to the *real* magic. Isn’t that right Boris.”
The tall heavyset one who didn’t speak much nods his head. “Yes it has been too long.”
“Right you are!” Say Jack cheerfully. He points at the store entrance and you hear the lock side shut and see the sign flip itself over to the closed side, “Let’s head to the back room.”
The three wizards walk through a thick wooden door but before you can slip through Jack shuts the door behind him. You hear a loud deadbolt thunk from the other side.
There doesn’t seem to be a way to open it. Your curiosity burns as you wonder what mysteries of the cosmos they are meddling with behind that door.
