Chris quickly flipped Girlfriend to Wife for Michelle, and then behind his own name flipped from Son of Wife (which it had changed to when he'd changed Girlfriend) to Son (Biological).
Chris pressed enter and suddenly felt a shiver go up and down his spine along with seeing a ripple shimmer out through the rest of the world. Unbeknownst to him, Chris slimmed down from the more average build he'd had to a slim build like his new father's. His weight dropping from 140 lbs to 110 lbs. In addition to that he lost an inch of height going from 5'11" to 5' 10". An inch taller than his Dad, with not much more room to grow according to the doctors. Chris' eyes shifted changing from the brown he'd been born with, to his new father's gray. This caused him to have to blink a few times as his eyes shifted and changed, followed by a pounding headache where new memories of growing up hanging around Dad's comic book shop and bonding over them appeared in his memory. When Chris was thinking more clearly, other memories started popping into his head, including remembering that Dad and Mom had him straight out of college--well straight out of college for Mom.
Michelle had come back home after getting her degree in fashion design, and had decided for old times sake to walk into the local comic book shop--which she'd been interested in since she was a kid, but had had to hide after puberty had left her looking more like head cheerleader than a gamer girl. The shop had been owned by Jared's dad at the time, and it was there she had encountered him. Jared was two years younger than her, and had always had a bit of a crush on her, but he'd always been too young to take seriously as boyfriend material. However, at 20 that had changed a bit, and he'd grown into himself since then. They'd flirted over a particular issue, until flirting had turned into a kiss--and a kiss had turned into a good time in the back room of the store. Nine months later, Chris had been born, and Jared and Michelle had married.
While Michelle had been working on her modelling career, as her easy ability to lose weight after pregnancy wowed the agency, Jared had slowly taken over the shop from his Dad. Meanwhile Chris had acquired younger siblings in this new reality.
