Pleased with her new body, Ty has to find a new name for herself.
"I wish my name was Mae," she says, "Mae Oceanid"
Ty, now Mae, turns around, examining her room. Apart from the mirror, nothing has changed. Gaining a lewd idea, Mae starts wishing:
"I wish that I could go anywhere in any state of dress without any side effects. Anyone who would be upset will see me dressed appropriately. Any protective equipment will not be needed. I could go skinny dipping in a vat of radioactive acid without any side effects, and streak in Antarctica without even being cold. I could also wear a full snowsuit in the middle of Death Valley in July without breaking a sweat." The slight chill in the house disappears, confirming Mae's wish.
Mae continues, "I wish that only a minute had elapsed since Mark, June, and Dustin had left for the baseball game." The sun flies back through the sky, as Mae wanders around her house. "I wish this day would last indefinitely, with events only progressing when I say so."
Now that she won't be surprised by her foster parents, Mae has to choose: Will she stay here, and change her family, or leave, and make herself a dream house?
