“Hmm... maybe they’ll have something here?” Jessica Morris pondered as she entered the Store and started looking around a bit, personally being taken back a bit by how varied the stock seemed to her. “Can I help you?” Summer the cashier asked as she approached, having quickly noticed Jessica looking a bit lost. “Oh... well... maybe? Do you work here?” Jessica returned nervously, “Am the cashier and often commercial star of late” Summer kindly answered “Why not go the my checkout station and we can go over what your search is for to see”, “That would be appreciated” Jessica welcomed.
As they reached the checkout point Summer used she took a firm look over Jessica to get a read on what to expect. To Summer, Jessica looked to be somewhere between 38 to early 40s, had a healthy build not often seen at such an age in these modern times, was dressed rather normally in beige caprei trousers and white shoes, a red shirt with elbow length sleeves under a black sleeveless puffer jacket, named looked a bit off as while seemingly Caucasian there were hints of Asian features including her shoulder-length raven hair. But overall in a rare moment Summer wasn’t getting any usual reads on what this customer wanted so she just had to ask...
...“So what are you in the market for today miss-” she started. “Mrs Morris” Jessica corrected “And I’m searching for a birthday gift for my daughter. She’s turning 14 next week”. “Ah that explains it. You’re shopping for another” Summer thanked in relief. “Huh?” Jessica questioned. “Slight quirk of mine. By giving a look over a customer I can get a feeling of what they might want. Trouble is it works only for personal purchases” Summer explained “In this case however I need to ask over what interests and hobbies your daughter-”. “Cecilia” Jessica called out. “Cecilia has Summer continued. “Well she’s thankfully to some extent not a fashionesta so hot trends are a fail” Jessica sadly started “School Work’s very much above board though at the same time edging between passing and excelling her tests”. “Again hobbies and interests. Mind owing to dangers certain films show we thankfully don’t do anything video-game looking related” Summer insisted. “Oh she’s an avid gardener. Heck she practically planted herself in our back garden tending to all sorts of plants” Jessica then stated. “Ah then I think we have something she’ll really like” Summer assured “Follow me again”.
Before she knew it Jessica had been guided to a stock of Alarune flowers “OK... these might be a challenge” Jessica noted in surprise. “Actually done right. Unmerged they don’t really require as much feed as you’d think” Summer assured. “Excuse me? Unmerged?” Jessica questioned. “You’ve never seen our commercials have you?” Summer guessed “These are Alarune Flowers. Like the plant girls from literature and more recently TV only a human needs to merge with them to be complete Alarune”. “HAY I want Cecilia to eventually start a family of her own” Jessica snapped. “As I said I’m also the main commercial star and a one required to be merged with such a flower” Summer assured “Heck I enjoyed it so much I asked if I could keep the one I used and my boss happily agreed to it”. “Your pulling my leg” Jessica dared. “I assure you plus for safety reasons each Alarune flower sale by store code comes with a detailed instruction manual in the buyer’s main tongue” Summer continued while grabbing a copy from a nearby shelf “Everything needed is written in here”. “You sure?” Jessica asked. “Not satisfied by sale’s time next year we can exchange the item with something more fitting but be advised besides Cecilia coming with you, you may need to pay in the difference between the original sales item and the replacement”.
“*Sigh*” Alright... besides these prices are well within my range” Jessica finally accepted. “So which one fits best with Cecilia?” Summer then asked. “Umm... hmmm... oh... this one looks ideal” Jessica responded after looking over the flowers and choosing this Purple Petunia Alarune flower “Purple’s her favorite color”. “Thank you... now alongside payment I need the address as to where to send the Flower” Summer accepted. “Oh... right I would guess getting them to customer addresses would require expect handling with what they are” Jessica accepted as she and Summer returned to the checkout:
