You came out of your cave & coughed a bit spitting a small flame. You surprised tried again & pointed your head up towards the sky & tried breathing fire; and did quite easily. [Cool.] You thought excited by that. Soon Ash walked up & he was quite different than you remembered last. First off he was walking on all fours having four paws like you; his hands were paws now. He had only earholes on his head now too. And he was just a bit bigger than you now; he'd shrunk again. "Hey Scarlet." He said friendly to you. You tried to say something of like 'Hi' back to him but of course only animal sounds came out of your mouth. Ash sat down in front of you & said with a smile "Well... I'm no longer anthropomorphic Scarlet. I a four legged feral dragon like you now." There was no doubt in that. "Now I want to talk to you this last time while I still can. I know in my soul I will have a full dragon head tomorrow & be unable to speak ever again." He told you. You sat down too now. "I don't know why I'm telling you any of this though. Like everyone else you won't remember any of what I'm telling you. You won't remember me as this way. You'll only remember me as a dragon just like you. But I guess this is just for me." He said with a smile. You so wished you could tell him you weren't like everyone else. That you do remember everything. That you will But just lack the ability to tell Ash so. And maybe that is for the best. "Now when I woke up naked in a pet bed as an anthropomorphic dragon I was confused. At first. I then suddenly got knowledge I was now always a pet dragon. Knowledge that I was over the course of a few days was going to fully transform into a dragon like you. Knowledge my parents were now always me & you owners. Knowledge that is how it always has been now." He told you. [He really is like me. Though I have to wonder where this knowledge is coming from. Or why we are changing & so is the reality so we were always pet dragons. Nothing else.] You thought. "And as strange as it may sound to you I am very glad this is happening to me. I love dragons. I got you because of that. Though you don't know or remember that." he told you. [I kinda knew you loved dragons man.] You thought. "I love the fact I am a dragon. Well almost." He said happy. [I'm glad you do.] You thought happy for him. "Thank you whatever is doing this to me!" Ash yelled to the sky joyful. Ash then looked back at you & said with a sad look "I don't even know if you know what I'm even saying. And it won't matter tomorrow because you won't remember any of this." Ash then turned & began walking away from you. You wanted to tell him that you do remember. That you will remember. That you remember it all. But again you lacked the ability to.
And that was probably for the best anyway. At least you believed that.
So you just watched him walk away.
