Entity #17175: Statue On MANkind

Author note:
Random thought bounced around for a while. Heavily inspired by the statue platform in interactive chapters 34931 and 45886, with a dash of 164424 , 176795 , and 177710 .

Entity #: 17175
Codename: Statue On MANkind
Known Abilities:
E-17175 is a rectangular light grey stone plinth, with an angled bronze-color front engraved panel titled "Statue On MANkind". Configuration switch buttons and some sliders are located beneath this title. The buttons click inward when active and outward when inactive. The top row buttons are labeled CHUB, ORC, SATYR, COCK, and determine overall form details of the statue itself. The second row buttons are labeled MOBILITY, MATERIAL, UNLIMITED FLUIDS, and CONTROLS, determining post-production details. A replenishing supply of sticky notes and a chain-attached pen allows for special requests or reviews to be inserted into a voting-box, where they will be taken into consideration by attached entities and generally granted or acknowledged for the next statuefication. Other materials may be submitted to the voting box, such as visual references.

Stepping on this plinth causes a compulsion to pose on it, followed by rapid petrification of body and immediate items (statue state). Poses and specific material vary wildly. Tendency is toward the mildly risque artistic for poses and a selection of common statue materials (minerals, metals, etc.). A strong wide-spectrum repulsion field is produced, preventing external interference. A number of varying-appearance beings (generally described as gnomes) will rapidly emerge from a currently unknown dimensional access pocket, make discussion comments, and begin rapidly transformatively modifying the statue state through chiseling and material additions in compliance with buttons and requests. There is significant randomness and artistic discretion to the process for anything unspecified, such as whether or not replacement clothing is provided after initial removal and whether gratuitous changes are made to appearance outside the scope of editing. In all cases bar explicit instructions otherwise, the overall transformation follows a male bodyplan and increases male homosexual attraction to varying extents. Post-transformation, the gnomes retreat and the anti-interference field dissipates. After a display period of approximately a day, if the transformed person is still on the plinth (usually due to being petrified and non-ordered), they will be moved to a nearby standing location by high-speed gnomes. Individuals can be placed onto the plinth or rejoin it to repeat the process (usually with different results, even within the same button configurations).

Existing statues, mannequins, and depictions of humanity may also be placed on the plinth, causing them to be converted into men with modification according to button settings and artistic interpretation of unclear features. This includes but is not limited to repairs of damaged sections, fill-in of non-depicted components, coloration decisions, potential upsizing of miniatures, extrapolation of personality, and providing basic worldly knowledge. Non-human-evoking inanimate objects (such as large abstractly-decorated vases) are typically left alone and can obstruct the plinth from activating.

Activating CHUB drastically increases apparent body fat, or preserves it during redesign. This is not to immobility, with suspicious avoidance of normal medical comorbidities, and typically includes an underlying musculature increase or conversion (musclegut effect). Smaller or large-girth small-length penis sizes, gynecomastia with lactation on average stimulus, and increased appetite are common. Inactive CHUB tends toward larger penis sizes, visibly athletic musculature, low-to-average body fat, and non-gynecomastia lactation-capability on prolonged stimulus.

Activating ORC causes a number of appearance changes: tusk growth, photosynthetic skin (regardless of apparent color), slightly snoutlike nose shape, larger overall size, potentially deeper voice, and aphrodisiac adjustments to pheromones. Inactive ORC tends toward more common nose shapes and staying within humanly normal sizes and scent ranges, possibly toward the smaller.

Activating SATYR causes drastic reformation towards goat legs and hooves, either pointed or goat-like ears, growth of goat-like horns (shape fidelity not necessary), controllable but typically very high bodily arousal, increased natural body hair, taking no negative side effects from alcohol (gaining improved liver effectiveness and mental faculty despite any appearance of drunkenness), and alteration to support direct consumption of goat-safe foods. Inactive SATYR usually means reduced or shaved body hair and larger feet, though this can be overridden on request or by artist preference.

Activating COCK ensures functional penis and testicles on the resulting transformation. Inactive COCK still follows an overall male body-plan, but genitalia may vary wildly. Known possibilities include anatomically accurate vagina, urethral rerouting to anus, sex toy attachment port, tentacle bulge over sexually receptive nook orifice, controllable lubricated regenerating gel-slime mass, and high-durability flower-like assembly.

MOBILITY active ensures the post-transformation entity is capable of main-body voluntary movement. Typically, degrees of finesse and precision depend on pre-transformation self, but may be increased (especially for new or drastically altered components). Inactive MOBILITY results in a primarily-statue or order-obeying robot depending on other settings. The immobilized individual is typically unconscious unless nonrepetitively audiovisually or physically stimulated, and is capable of short-range telepathic communication. Anti-discomfort enchantments mitigate panic responses and other effects of stasis even if not statue material. Most physical stimulation of the immobilized individual will be treated erotically.

MATERIAL active causes the post-transformation entity to remain made of the material of statue state, though it may be capable of movement and supporting biological interactions if mobile or ordered. Inactive MATERIAL will cause reversion to flesh or flesh-analogous materials in the resulting transformation, including attendant biology. In any case, slow but visible-if-left-unobstructed regenerative and cleansing ability is gained to compensate for erosion and environmental factors. Severed extremities will gravitate towards the main body, regenerating if destroyed or esoterically unlinked. Damage on the level of being overall broken into small chunks, more severe damage, or biological death will destroy the transformation and emit the pre-transformation person to an appropriately survivable location, typically nearby but out of the immediate cause of death.

UNLIMITED FLUIDS fits a fluid supply or supplies to the transformation that supernaturally replaces urine, ejaculate, and sometimes sweating, or provides a replacement process that subjectively feels like one of the above. The options here vary wildly. Statues may be fitted with fountains to continuously emit water from the urethra, bar taps, sinks, and other fixtures. Animate individuals may still receive this fitting, or simply be able to emit on command whenever desired (such as a continuous stream). A supernatural effect will cause using this process to be considered non-objectionable by those not already accepting or sufficiently sexually aroused and attracted to ignore it. Sucking and licking on an obviously-penis object as if it were a hamster-style water bottle in contravention of water fountain hygiene is very typical. Public nudity of those with unlimited fluids may be commented on as humorous or to degrade, but does not merit action being taken or non-sexual punishment. Inactive UNLIMITED FLUIDS leaves biological fluids operating more or less conventionally.

Activating CONTROLS will produce (or if extant, update for thematic resonance with the new transformation) a control device to issue freeform orders to the transformed person. These are typically multifunctional as microphones for verbal commands and text-entry fields for complex written orders, or have a button to switch between states (e.g. a microphone can produce a keypad or rolling-scroll section). Orders issued by controls are subject to interpretation by transformed victims but generally must be followed in either spirit or specific wording, being performed autonomously and directly if resisted for too long. Orders to inanimate victims are performed by robotic auto-interpretation barring explicit orders to animate under control of the bound person. The control object will dissipate on the linked transformation being overwritten or destroyed, though transformations caused by the controls themselves do not cause this. Persons are capable of using commands on themselves, should they acquire their control device. Mental and physical compulsions of the control device prevent issuing orders that prevent later revoking orders or would cause infinite loops without reasonably achievable exit opportunities. Orders caught in infinite loops or becoming irrevocable due to lack of revocation condition lose their compulsion aspect and may be voluntarily ceased. This does not prevent orders that would be impractical to take back, such as breaking a difficult-to-repair object or killing a person. Orders that are physically impossible for the transformed person to achieve will attempt to transformatively adapt to satisfy the order. However, this has rate limitations which make it impractical to affect large areas in a short period of time. Transformations of others are generally single target and require personal intervention for the first several days of order adaptation. Specific abilities capable of covering large rooms take several days each, displaying skill in complex fields may require research even at superhuman rates, etc. Inactive CONTROLS leads to not generating such a control object, or dismantling one that exists and voiding unwanted standing orders.

Overall transformation priority appears to be burst-type, increasing with presence of gnomes and specific transformative orders, while being interruptible otherwise even by physical force.

Containment: #E-17175 is available to G.E.T. staff for use as a survival and problem-solving transformation: transform, order transformation priority and specific abilities, detonate if undesired afterward. The sub-site 'Garden of Statues' will receive periodic monitoring to check for accidental inanimations.

Other: Gnomes associated with E-17175 mention that other plinths are currently active in the same world. G.E.T. investigations have not yet revealed these, indicating protection from divination is likely.
