"When are they getting married," Spark asked.
"Tomorrow morning," Connor stated. "They asked if we wanted to come. It'll only take a couple of hours." Spark rubbed her chin thoughtfully, a small smile spreading across her face. "I'm game," she said. Turning to her friends, the fairy now wanted to know if they were interested. "You guys want to come?"
Nat, Rei, and the others now glanced at one another before nodding. "Sounds fun,"
"Um question," Miranda asked timidly. "Can we come back afterwards? I was starting to have fun."
"Seriously you want to come back," Spark asked in awe. "Even after those fairy kids tried to bite your fingers off and the Unseelie tried to take your brother?" Miranda nodded, looking to her friends for support. Slowly they each stepped forward, nodding in agreement.
"Yeah we want to see more Spark," Nat stated. "Your family seems cool and even though we got off to a rocky start , things have gotten better."
"Besides I want to see Midna's shop," Rei added.
"And your brother Zephyr said he would practice guitar with me," Miles said. "Was kind looking forward to jamming out with him. I don't get alot of chances to have a jam session that often." Spark now stared at her friends, her eyes actually becoming a little damp that her friends really seemed to enjoy fairy culture. "Thanks you guys."
The next morning, Nat and the others bid their farewells, promising to return shortly to finish their visit. As Nova now opened the portal to the human world, she glanced at Spark and Connor, giving the pair a massive hug. "So great of you to visit Spa'kalth," she sniffed. "Visit again soon. You are always welcome."
"Thanks mom," Spark said softly. The teenage fairy now turning to Star. The orange fairy appearing emotional as she hugged her little sister. "Take it easy sis," she sniffed. "It was great to see you again." Star now turned to Connor, her face her brow furrowimg in mock disapproval. "You better take care of my little sister Mr. Moreland or you're going to have to deal with me."
"Ignore her," Spark laughed. "Star couldn't beat up fly if she tried." The two sisters sharinga laugh before flashing an impish grin. Waving goodbye to Sparks family, the teens now entered the portal, standing in the Morelands backyard once more.
"Feels good to be home," Spark and Connor sighed, the pair stretching as they gazed the the Moreland house. "Well," Spark stated. "We should probably go get ready for the wedding."
"Um Spark," Connor stated. Spark looked to where Connor was pointing, stifling a laugh as she gazed at her friends.
While Connor and Spark had returned to their proper size, it appeared their friends hadn't. Spark now knelt down, a warm smile on her face as she looked over her fairy sized friends. "Aww they look kinda cute."
Connor stifled laugh as he looked his friends over. The teens were so small that all the pair could hear was the faintest words being yelled up too them. The shrunken teens jumping up and down trying to get the pairs attention. "Whats that," Spark mused. "You want to stay like that? Wait what! You want to be even smaller?!"
"Knock it off Spark," Connor sighed, trying to hide the smirk on his face. "Just make them their normal size again."
"Fine," Spark groaned, the fairy casting her spell to return the others to normal. Connor now watched as Sparks spell took affect, his friends growing back to normal size in only a matter of moments.
"The hell Spark," Miles exclaimed as he examined himself. "You weren't gonna leave us like that were you?"
"Oh relax Miles," Spark scoffed. "Can't you take a joke?" Before Miles could answer, Rick Moreland now emerged from the backdoor. "Hey you made it," he said happily.
"Wouldnt have missed it Uncle Rick," Connor said happily as he hugged his uncle.
"So finally tying the knot Rickster," Spark smirked.
"Yeah," he blushed. "Although I'm sure I won't be the last. Heard about you my nephew here. Rite of Spring am I right?"
"How..how did you know about that," Spark stammered, her cheeks turning crimson.
"Jacob may have been the better hunter but I was the one that studied the cultures and history," he stated with pride. "When he told me how you and Connor were dating and that you looked like a teen, I put two and two together."
"Yeah its true," Connor replied sheepishly. Rick simply nodded, hugging the pair. "Well congrats I suppose," he smiled. "Guessing you two will be tying the knot after graduation." Connor and Spark blushed, shyly gazing at one another. Yes they wanted that but the idea of actually being married when confronted with it was a bit overwhelming.
"So who's going to the wedding," Nat asked, trying to eas the tension for Spark and Connor.
"Nina and Jacob of course," Rick stated. "Also your brother and his girlfriend Gloria. As far as Julia goes, it sounds like her mom and all her siblings. Plus their kids."
"Oh the kids will be there too," Rei replied excitedly. "Oh cool, I always like babysitting Kari and the twins."
"Plus her brother Coles kids," Rick added. "Little Tommy and Yuriko I believe. You'll get a chance to meet them all but first let's head in and get dressed. The wedding is in a few hours."
