The white ball drifted through the air with a soaring grace as it spiraled back to the ground.
Shara erupted from the crystal clear water like a rocket as she spiked it.
“I got it! I got it!” Jamie yelled as she swam backwards.
The volleyball flew past the blonde’s head and struck Alya’s hip before getting bounced back and smacking Lucy in the face.
“Hey watch it!” Alya yelled, “Almost dropped the ribs!”
Alya set the pan of pork ribs on the counter as Melanie rattled her cocktail shaker and poured the teal liquid into a margarita glass.
“A little lime wedge with a pineapple chunk, and there’s your Baja Typhoon!” She smiled as she handed Alya her drink, “Want anything Sammy?”
“A bottle of bourbon.” Sam said.
Sam adjusted her top as Melanie handed her a bottle of Jim Bean.
“Hey Lisa, y’all gotta try this!” Alya called out.
“Nah, I’m good!” Lisa called as she spread tanning lotion across her hefty breasts and laid back in her chair as she grabbed the tanning mirror. Tina and Christy sat in the chairs next to her as they read their book.
“Here it comes!” Winona yelled as she spiked the ball over the net.
It struck Chloe’s plate and smashed her burger all over her sepia-tone one piece.
“Do we have any napkins?” Chloe bluntly asked as she walked up to the bar.
“Sorry!” Winona called out.
“This is nice…” Colin sighed as he wrapped his arms around Marinette. “Too bad Zoya and Lori couldn’t make it.”
“Don’t think about them, just focus on me for now….” Marinette whispered as she pulled him into a kiss.
“Hey babe, the ribs are ready!” Lucy said as she hopped out of the pool and fished the inflatable net out.
“I‘ll be right back!” Colin smiled as he ran over.
The rich smoky sauce and tender rib meat mixed with every bite, running down his chin with the buttery grill roasted corn and tangy coleslaw.
“Wow this is amazing!” Colin said as he tore off another chunk of rib and chewed it all up.
“Awwww, thanks.” Alya blushed.
Suddenly a phone beeped.
“Welp, looks like it’s Winona’s turn!” Melanie smiled as she yanked off her huge hoodie to reveal her lacy trimmed watermelon bikini.
She ran out from the bar and dove right in, the water glistening against her skin as she leapt back up.
‘This day can’t get any better…’ Colin sighed.
Then the doorbell rang.
Colin left the bar and headed though the sliding glass door.
“Who is it?” Colin asked as he looked through the small window above the door handle.
