"Tanya?" Rebecca shouted as the young woman seemed to have a seizure.
"Daddy's here baby." Arnie took hold of his daughter's hand. "Tell me what's wrong princess."
"Oh my god!" Rebecca exclaimed as the teenagers skin pulled tight on her body and turned a grey colour. Light seemed to bounce right off it. Almost as it her skin
had become metallic."
"What's wrong with her?" Arnie asked. "She's so cold to the touch."
Tanya looked at the two humans. "I am Tanya, I am ready to be programmed."
"What the hell?" Arnie gasped when he saw that his daughters face had become a blank metal parody of a face.
"I am ready to be programmed." Tanya repeated. "What do you want me to do?"
"She's a robot?" Rebecca guessed. "What can you do?"
"I can perform any task required of me, I obey without question and I serve without expectation."
"Listen to me Tanya, you are my daughter. You are Tanya, you are not some sort of slave. You have thoughts of your own, opinions, ideas and you will not obey
any orders from anyone."
"I don't think she can understand you." Rebecca put her hand on Arnie's shoulder. "We have to find a way to turn her back into your daughter." She couldn't tell
him the truth but she could tell him something close enough to it. "My brother was working on some sort of experiment next door. It exploded, I think it killed Rick.
I had only just escaped when you found me. Maybe if we find out what he was tryng to do we can restore he back to normal."
"Do you want me to tidy this dwelling?" Tanya asked, eager to serve her Master and Mistress.
"It will keep her occupied while we try to cure her." Rebecca said to Arnie.
"Ok, Tanya can you tidy this place up while we're gone?"
"I obey Master." Tanya replied before getting to work.
"Don't call me that, call me Daddy."
"Yes...Daddy."
Rebecca and Arnie left to find a cure for Tanya's condition.
