Jeff, still frozen in place by Jared's mental commands, was powerless as his younger brother thought about what he would be turned into.
The 10 year old gave a wicked smile and his eyes began to glow bright red. Jeff knew that he was using the power of the Chronivac, now merged with Jared's brain, to change him in some evil way. He could only brace for the worst. Jeff felt a massive burst of energy as Jared's full reality-bending power hit him. However, he couldn't feel any pain or physical changes.
Jared just kept smiling. "You're free to go, 'bro'". Jeff didn't like his emphasis on that word. Suddenly his freezing spell was removed and Jeff could walk again.
"What did you do to me, twerp?" Jeff asked, slightly fearful.
"Oh you'll see Jeff. Something that fits an annoying brat like you." He smirked and turn around, satisfied with his work. Jeff knew he didn't have much time to act. His brother was pure evil and had unlimited power, there was only one thing Jeff could do. He waited for Jared to walk back to his room before hesitating and making a mad dash for Jared. He was going to end things here.
Sneaking up to his brother's bedroom, Jeff could hear Jared talking with someone, as if he was on the phone. Ignoring what was being said, he waited until a good moment to burst through the door and catch Jared by surprise. Although the boy was basically a reality-controlling god, he still was very weak physically. Once Jeff got close, he managed to get his hands around his brother's throat. Jared, rapidly losing oxygen, tried to defend himself with his brain-ingrained Chronivac powers. Jeff noticed his eyes turn red and quickly punched him in the temple, leaving Jared dazed. Jeff hesitated for a second. Was he about to kill his own brother?
Before he could react, there was a whizzing noise and a sharp stinging sensation emerged from Jeff's rear. Turning around he, saw a large hypodermic dart sticking out of his butt! Now it was his turn to be dazed and he felt a rapid sleepiness start to emerge. Jared, now fully alert, managed to roll himself away from Jeff.
"What the...?" Jeff managed to say before passing out.
A man dressed in professional animal control attire stepped inside. "Hey kid, are you alright?"
"Yes sir, thank you for getting things under control." Jared said.
The animal wrangler picked up Jeff's unconscious body without noticing anything out of the ordinary. "Thanks for giving me a call. You're lucky I was just around the block. How the hell did a fully grown cow even manage to get into your house?"
"Oh, my family owns a large cattle farm". As he said this, Jared's eyes glowed red once again, reality itself changing to conform to Jared's lies. "You can just take this one back to the cow pen."
Jared, still smiling innocently, watched his brother get taken away. He knew he had to be more careful to prevent that from happening again! Now, how would he punish Jeff for his attack?
