You spend the rest of the hour as you usually do, but instead of using the shower, you put on deodorant, because it was faster, and your school uniform along with it. You then feel a pain on the other side of your forehead, and spot that a second dragon horn has grown, while you were changing, and getting deodorized.
Once you were ready, you grab your school backpack, which wasn't thrown out during your breakdown the other night, and head outside to the vehicle garage. "Where are you going?" Lacey asks. "To go get my bike," You answers. "It's exercise with transportation, and I'm not ready to get a license just yet." "That's a thoughtful idea, but we're walking to school today instead," Lacey explains. 'Walking to school, with her?' You think. 'Has she fully lost it? Doesn't she take the bus? Since when did she want to walk to school, and with me?'
