The September Edition of Animalia Magazine was called the Schematic Edition because its main article showed both recent additions and planned things for the future, though not all of them would be happening next year.

What was probably the most popular, depending on how you look at it, was the Bara house. Because of Miles' coverage of the original, another Bara House was well underway in Dino City, though that would be the last major expansion. While the digital copy included the definition of the term bara as it appeared in the Urban Dictionary, the physical copy only mentioned that bara was the Japanese word for rose. This caused all kinds of hilarious comments on the website, mainly from people who somehow confirmed that they were not of age to view such things, but these were mostly ignored or clapbacked.

Because of the upcoming International Talk Like a Pirate Day, there was another article that talked about the origin and/or evolution of pirates, both in history and popular culture. While the 'popular culture' focused mainly on debunking myths, it did have some surprising confirmations.
The historical article turned out, ironically, to be the most interesting of the overall article. As it turned out, the original pirates were originally soldiers in their countries' navy, back when Britain, France, Spain, and Portugal were competing with each other over the resources of the Americas. But when a peace treaty was signed between them, the navies were downsized, and the sailors were out of work, which ultimately led to the rise of piracy.
Fitting in with the "season", Animalia School of Modeling was doing a "pirate photoshoot", though the more... "tattered" outfits were only available on the website, and only to those who had premium accounts. Miss Fabina was also getting in on the act with some pirate-themed videos. While some plots were considered "clichéd", "hackneyed", etc., such as a male pirate encountering female demon via cursed treasure, or a female pirate encountering a male sea monster in rut, etc., you simply couldn't get away from the fact that such plots were "simple and they worked". While there were some demands for some with more "tentacles" in them (guess where those came from), the simple fact that the Virus simply can't work on invertebrates, so there would be no octopus or squid Animalians, for now at least.

Another one was an article that was considered a sneak peek for Spookyville 2023. This was mainly because some people didn't think that Manny Calavera's bad jokes or Dr. Fred's "express train" ride were appropriate for young children. Fortunately, there was already plans in place for a newer "transport to Spookyville" inspired by It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. The article talked mainly about the inspiration and creation of the Halloween Special, as well as a few "easter eggs" that nobody really noticed.
