While Adam remained shell-shocked, the rest of the family moved along without him, preparing dinner as he stared unseeing at the ceiling. Coral laughed at him, poking and prodding his body with her fingers, though eventually that grew boring and she moved back to playing with her new toy.
She took a picture of her mother, watching as the screen popped up with an exact replica of her. She played with it for a few moment, stretching its height. Unfortunately, nothing seemed to change, just her regular, 6'4 mother. Coral edited the name, too. She didn't really know what her mother was called, as she always just referred to her as 'Mum', but she was pretty sure it had always been Barbie. Slightly disappointed with it not working well, yet still inexplicably drawn to playing with the device, she resigned herself to just idly spinning the figure, not noticing her finger slipping on the -Height button.
So engrossed in the game, she didn't hear her mother call out to her for dinner, until the 5'9 woman was standing in front of her, hands on hips. "I've called you three times, young lady. Now get off that device, and come help me set the table."
"But Muuuum," Coral whined, before being shut up by Barbie's stern gaze.
"No buts. If I see you so much as touch that again, I'm confiscating it until bedtime."
Coral rolled her eyes but did as her mum told her, setting the table before going to wake up her brother. She poked him in the cheek, even shook him by the shoulders, but the 18-year-old didn't respond. As a last resort, she sat down on his stomach.
That woke him up. Adam shot upright, pushing her off and doubling over as he clutched at himself. "What the hell was that for?"
"I tried to wake you," she pointed out, watching as his gaze went from annoyed to bewildered as he stared at her huge rack. "Stop staring at my breasts, weirdo."
He shook his head, stupor fading. "Right. Sorry. What did you want?"
"I came to tell you dinner's ready." She tossed her head and went to sit down at the table. Adam followed, hoping to god that this would be a normal family dinner.
